Stinker & Trala's Tents: A Tropicanna Banana Republic

You're in the thick of Tra, it is good you do what you can to keep your head above water, well I hope more than that, as all the shit flying around these days can easily become overwhelming if we poke our heads up too far.
Thanks Stung.

We all know I like a bit of trama lol.

It’s behind me today. It’s the most manic job. So funny one minute so tragic the next. No wonder I’m CrAy cRaY!

⭐️…⭐️…⭐

Here’s our official weekly comparison:) So it’s been two weeks since her tramatic forceps birth, and oh my days! Since then she has tried her best! She is such a happy little girl. She now stands 9cm/3.5” tall and she’s currently pushing out her forth set of nodes. I’m still unsure how I want to train her. I’m really wanting to mimic stinkers grow style on this one, that’s if my growth is compatible (I think that’s the word, like similar) to his. I’d also like to clone her, just coz I love her lol.

Most in here hate my watering style, and today you would be clutching pearls, because everyone except my heavily flowering girls are out in it, despite the fact they are full of water from yesterdays feeding. It’s my little girls first day out and seeing them dancing in the rain makes me big smile. I believe there is something magical in freshly fallen rain drops that even tank water can’t replicate. Doesn’t make it true mind, but it is my belief. Lol. I’m still not sure about nutes either.

Going forward I’ll try and keep this journal just about Pink. But her sisters to different misters just looked too pretty not to share with you today. Well I think they do lol.

So here we are :)

I use rainwater for all my plant & veggie watering, thousands can't be wrong. You will be not sorry, if you take cuttings, especially if it as tasty as mine is.
Should end up a monster in your tropical environment :green_heart:

Trala your presentation and pictures are spot on. How do you say? On fleek! :thumb:

We start with a pic of the culprit. He probably wont go in the tent again, he came out scared. The group shot looks cool. Betty and her Amnesia Lemon sister were moved front and center for a couple more.

Growth has been good, they are starting to look a little hungry. 1st nodes were removed yesterday. They will green up again after they hit the fresh soil. We will have a warm sunny day today - 17c. It'll be perfect for mixing and measuring new soil for the grow bags. Uppotting will be this weekend!

Betty is part of a larger grow, it wont always be possible to isolate the plants for pics.
Happy grows :peace:

I use rainwater too, but I think there is something extra special about plants enjoying direct rain.

I’m actually trying to veer away from monster sized plants, rather unsuccessfully mind, my Bubba Kush is gonna be one phat bitch lol. My goal was to keep my plants around my Zkittles’ size. My Mimosa and Bubba Kush didn’t get the memo…

I’m really considering following stinkers method this grow. If my foliage matches his I will. My only concern is with my old banger of a light my plants won’t be as developed.

Good morning. Its morning here. 5:am - G'Day! Tra :)

Pink and Isabella are thriving. Beautiful pics as usual. I need coffee and a puff. Be back.
Grüezi! It’s 12:38am here! I’m nearly 4 hours in to a 10 hour shift.

Omg aren’t they?! I’m so pleased! They look like proper 420 Mag plants!

Rain water is the creation of all life, and there is no replacement,
While that sounds great, I’m not sure if it’s scientifically true lol. But I’m picking up what you’re putting down.
and plants can tell the difference,, they love it
I think so too.

I think there is a difference between tank and direct rain. My plants tell me there is anyway. Lol

They look great la Rue!

Can you give me a height and node count please?

My goal is to keep mine as similar to yours as possible.

Hi Trala! Thanks. The TB is a fast grower. It is 10cm or just under 4" tall The first nodes at the single blade were removed. I leave the leaf. :) Including the removed there would be 5 nodes and a top. I'm going to top the BP's soon.

You grow great, your plants look great. I think pushing the light strength carefully is good indoors. I thought he TS-1000 was a good light. I used 1 for my first 2 indoor grows with good results. The link is below. First Tent

What do you mean your first nodes removed but left the leaf?

And can you do a size and node update on Wednesdays? I’ve decided I’m going to train and flip when you do if I can. I mean if Pink has enough green meat on her bones.

Thank you for saying that. Im just finding my grow juju again. My last year saw my grow style regress. Totally regress. I see now where I went wrong. That bloody lamp. Such a stupid idea.

Me: I’m gonna veg my seedlings under this weak lamp bulb
You guys: that’s not a great idea
Me: PREPARE TO BE DAZZLED!

I should listen more. My confidence has always outweighed my ability.

But I’m getting back to basics and I am seeing results.

I’m really impressed with it. Stays as cold as a nuns loins too.

I’ll check it out.

:)

The new growth, the little stem that is growing in the crook of the leaf and the main stem. I remove the new growth but leave the leaf.
See all that green that was removed in the pic. The single bladed leaf is still on the plant.

Good morning la Rue

Why do you do this?

Hi Tra! I remove the first new growth, or nodes growth because it doesn't ever amount to much. The energy it takes to grow it is better used somewhere else. Why I leave the leaf? So I can say leave the leaf :cheesygrinsmiley: My thought is that the green leaf spurs growth, more photosynthesis than if removed.

They haven’t developed yet on my TB. When they do I’ll cut them and keep the leaf.

My little miss got a top and an uppot yesterday and she’s pretty happy about it.
