Started Without A Clue

This AM’s pics top 3 others in the last few days! Far as the BudgetLEDs I don’t have anything to compare them to but I love them! For my first grow I am satisfied with the results I’ve been getting :thumb:

Yes 2 light sources are in the tent. Not sure exactly about the wall wattage and such, have been trying to figure out and goes right over my head. The lights are both @Budget LED the first I got was the 130watt full spec, worked wonders! Probably didn’t need the 2nd which is a 250watt because I was going into flowering and kept reading bigger light, better smoke all around. So I went for it!

What's up ? Just read the whole journal. Your biggest problem is you weren't ready when you started & had to keep changing things throughout your grow. Next grow will go a lot smoother.
It looks like both the lights you bought will cover a 3 x 3 tent. So you could use 2 - 3x3 tents since you have 2 lights or have a really nice 4x4 tent using both lights.
It appears you water / feed a little too often. You have to let soil dry out almost completely before feeding again. Nute pH doesn't really matter much in soil. But in Coco it needs to be about 5.8. Coco you never let dry & feed at least once per day. Twice per day is even better during flower.
I'm not sure which you're using as you said "Coco Soil". Not sure if you mixed the 2 or what.
The other issue I see is you keep defoliating. The plant has to heal every time you do that & slows down growth.
Each leave that has a bud next to it should not be cut off. That leave is that buds Solar Panel soaking up energy to build bigger buds. If there's no bud by the leaf then cut it off if you really must touch your plants. But plants don't like all that touching either. The less you do the bigger they'll get in a way.
I only cut leaves off when they lay on top of each other & leave moisture spots or I'm starting Flower. I'm not concerned with getting light to the bud sites. I'm concerned with getting light to the leaves connected to that bud site. It's called Photosynthesis. I posted an article in my journal on this the other day in case you're interested.
You would benefit quite a bit by reading my journal as it has a bunch of info that can help you.
Not sure if I've helped any. Just pointed out what I seen & read.

Where have you been my whole grow?!? :goof: Ok so I got the gorilla shorty tent 2x4 and threw both lights in....definitely too late to quit feelin em up so I’ll have to note myself to keep hands off for next grow. I’m in coco but rn my problem is I feed and ppm won’t rise between around 700-900. Should I feed more frequently without runoff or is it because I’m doing the watering too often.? My pH is also screwy on the WW because I can’t get it to get lower than 6.5!! Tbh I check medium to the knuckle and it may feel slightly moist so I go ahead and water, I’ll stop doing this and only water am and2 hours before lights out. Got that!I really wanted to know about the peroxide soak for the gnats and wondered if I should have just tried to fend off as many as I can or take diff approach. I’m not worried about screwing up too much, yes I want yield and good taste, but I knew starting I would f/ up EVERYTHING! But I don’t think I did too bad not knowing what exactly I was doing; basically trying to keep up with growers who’s journal I would watch, that have been doing so for 10+ years:popcorn: I really wanted to try everything that was my main prob but how do you know if you don’t try it out? Lol I’m not tryna kill em just figure out what works and what doesn’t for a more focused grow if that makes sense. Thinkin about posting a sign in the tent that says HANDS OFF! to get my brain to register before my hand reaches out in curiosity:hmmmm: Thanks so much for chiming in I needed a good reality check

decent.

you should get this moved to journals in progress. will get a bit more attention. ask a mod.

Peroxide kills the Larvae. Not the Fliers. You don't want the hatched Larvae eating your roots. The Fliers don't do anything but annoy the hell out of you & get stuck in the buds.
Which ppm & pH are you talking about ? Nutes going in ? Run off pH ? Don't worry about run off measurements unless you start having issues. As long as you pH going in you should be good.

I have been clocking both, religiously that is probably I big part of my watering..trying to match numbers....every time! But I was referring to runoff so I’ll cut that out too LOL! haven’t seen any larvae today few fliers but hopefully they run into the tape(fingers crossed) I’ll be watering less frequently than usual so that should help with top soil not being so appealing. Pic of the way I have been feeding/watering/ &keeping track of growth in my book of self look backs in case things go sideways I can figure out what I did and when.
Forgive the kid scribbles at the bottom :laughtwo:
