Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Bonus Update

Did a bit of shuffling around the tents this week. The Blue Dream is on her Flip Day 1 so she is up in the big tent again. She is going to be a monster and one I might have to worry about height with, but we will see in 2-3 weeks. I also got the White Widow up potted into her 2 gallon pot.

I am able to keep the Jack Herer Auto in the flower tent (for now) even with the Blue Dream up there now. Its very tight but I will try to run the Jack for 12 hours in the flower tent and then I will move her down to the veg tent for the extra 6 hours of light when the flower tent lights go out. I am thinking I will probably be able to do this for another 2 weeks...maybe 3 weeks. Now once the buds start flopping.....all bets are off and she will stay where ever there is room.

Things will be tight in the veg tent when the White Widow gets bigger.....that Northern Lights is getting huge! Speaking of that, I wanted to show a pic of the veg tent 10 days ago. The Northern Lights is in the middle of this pic with the Blue Dream on the right and the male Stankberry on the left.

Now this is what the veg tent is looking like with the Northern Lights (on the right), the Jack Herer Auto (on the left) and the White Widow in her new home in the middle.

And here is a quick shot of the Jack Herer Auto beast......

And the Northern Lights in her 10 gallon home.....just starting to stretch her roots!

She looks impressive indeed. It's a classic, but you'll never know if they diluted the genetics until you grow it :goodjob:

For those of us new to growing can you briefly explain what you mean by "they diluted the genetics until you grow it" ?? Can you tell just looking at a plant if the genetics have been compromised? What are signs to look for in that case? Does this JH plant look diluted? Thank for taking a moment to share your knowledge.

I had commented that internet rumor says Sensi seeds Northern Lights was not what it used to be. Then again I have heard others say it is, and I think that is what he was referring to.

When I look at the pics of the tent all I can see is that Jack Herer. It's crazy, like a mutant pot bush!
Morning Shed! Yeah its kind of tough to look past her...she's a beast for sure. Hope she yields like she grows.

Hey Conradino, thanks for swinging by brother. I am digging the Northern Lights girl so far! Unfortunately I have never smoked NL before so I don't have a baseline to compare her to. But I suppose that means I will approach her smoke with an open mind and no expectations so that might be good as well.

This Is one of the reasons that after we do the perpetual for a year, we are going to switch to comparison type grows. Pick a strain that I have seeds from multiple banks and grow them out. 5 or 6 different Jack Herers, White Widows, Blueberry, Northern Lights, etc and actually compare genetics on strains.

Looking great over here van.. that auto could use a bit of a defoil lol! That girl is crazy. Really cute how mrs stank is learning.. you are a lucky dude. Goes to work and helps ya grow, and grows well i might add.. hot damn! Do the little pipe cleaner clips come loose everyday? Great idea there man.:green_heart:

Thanks Toast!! Yeah I defoliated the Jack of about 20-30 smaller leaves yesterday. She is still stretching so I don't want to slow her down too much yet. Once she is about 3.5 weeks of flowering, I will do a heavy defoliation on her.

No the little pipe cleaners don't come lose. As the new shoot grows taller, I just slide the clip outwards as I want.

Jack Herer Auto Day 59

She looks a little rough after her watering but she is still beasting it. She spends 12 hours up in the Flower tent and 6 hours in the veg tent.

The Flowers are continuing to form as she is stretching. She continues to drink very heavily.

She looking fine, but I'm starting to think you drive women to drink....heavily. Typical Marine....

Well I can say that I am probably guilty of that in my past. I am sure my ex wife would agree! LOL

Bonus Tent and Cola Shots

Our weekend is wrapping up, and with it so are the updates. Last one for the weekend are some Flower tent shots and a couple bonus cola shot (Stankberry). Its really crowded in there with the Blue Dream in there now. We have the 2 Nukeheads, 1 Stankberry, 1 Harlequin, 1 Jack Herer Auto and the Blue Dream (on day 2 of flip).

My goals this grow is try to average about 5 zips per plant which would put me at around 840 grams total for these 6 plants. That would give me a 1.27 gram per watt for the maiden grow with the light. I will be very happy if I can hit those numbers.

The last picture of the Stankberry colas doesn't really give a good scale of how long those main colas are. They are about 18" long at this point. Going to really be some gorgeous spiral buds as it bulks up. They are day 30, 23 with hairs on the Stankberry.

You have to let it ferment in a jar for a while. Gimme a second and I'll find the original tutorial for you. It's on how to make cal/mag naturally, but if you just use the shells it's straight calcium. No need to pan cook them first since that adds phosphorus I think. [Got that backwards according to the link]

I'll edit this post as soon as I grab the link...
Emmie's DIY CalMagPhos+ From Eggshells
Thanks Intheshed. That looks like a good inexpensive organic diy. I'll try it when I run out of the cal mag I have now.
