Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Our soils have lost the ability to make nutrient dense foods. Pesticides have reduced our food's nutritional value by 50% or more. Cancer is more prevalent today because our food isn't giving our bodies the ability to heal. Human Reproduction will suffer next. Some doctors are warning 3 out 4 kids born 30-40 years from now will be autistic. Mother nature will force a course correction whether we like it or not. I'm afraid we've passed the tipping point to do anything about it now.

Damn brother.....the shit seems to be everywhere. I lost both uncles to throat cancer within 24 hours of each. Ms Stank has lost several members to it. Its an evil evil thing. My dad had it, right after a heart attack and stroke. Prostate....ended up having to remove it. Shit scares the hell out of me. I ain't afraid of dying....but I am scared shitless of dying from Cancer.

I just measured out my garden area.....still way too muddy and wet to start working out there yet....but I have about 1800 square feet to work with. We will be working our way into trying to grow all our own food for the year or at least as much as we can. We gotta work up our preservation methods though. Eventually I would like to have a root cellar for long term storage. Maybe a wood shed on top of it. This year will be a trial year since I don't have any large scale compost to start with. A good chunk of the garden will probably be a compost crop to get things rolling for next year.

That is crazy info and it sounds like it could I be true without looking into.

Makes me think wish I had a nice farm myself ? Grow my own everything!

It’s scary a friend once said to me .

Joe ,” think about it “

Me “hmmm”

He says ,
“Think of all the garbage that we get rid of (I was a garbage man.)what you see in the bins people throw out”. Oh how they just burry the bags into our earth crust at our landfills.

I’ve seen a lot do crap that shouldn’t be being buried .

So now this soil landfill breaks down forever and then gets shipped off for and whatever happens and then next thing you know it’s been turned into compost and put into our soils again? Scary thinking ! If you get where I am going ?

Sorry just freaky to think about it .

I like the idea about growing everything so you know what chemicals were used or not used. But I'm too lazy to do it

Too true but if we were rich and had the time right . Or at least pay someone to do to for us ?

I love working so I don't mind growing my own foods. Cuts down on the food bills and the food is way better tasting and I know its organic. We had a great outdoor garden at the old place but it got over run with squirrels and chipmunks. They absolutely destroyed our crops the last 2 years. I didn't get a single tomato last year. Every freaking time one was ripening up nicely....BAM.....bites out of it and anything near by.

Doesn't seem like we will have issues with the small critters here.....but maybe the big critters will be an issue. I can't wait for fresh veggies!!

I've always told myself if I win the lottery I will have a personal assistant / Chef / cleaning person to make sure I get fed healthy for every meal.

I loved cooking.....but man anymore the neck/shoulder area feels it real quickly and then the slight bend at the lower back just makes ya not want to do it. I hate that mentality. Hoping now that its warming up and I fixed the grill, I will be back to the easier cooking.

A personal chef would be nice. Not every night....but maybe three nights a week.

Time to start thinking about firing up the smoker.

I have a pretty big garden (50x150) and last year I barely got anything off of it. Raccoons and the deer did it in. This year I'm going smaller and putting up an electric fence to deal with that. Hard for a guy to feed his family. And Van 1800 sq/ft is a big garden. Mine is less than half of that and I end up giving more than half of it away. 4-50 feet rows of green beans gave me over 100 quarts of canned beans and other friends came in and took the rest. My wife said no more than 8 tomatoe plants this year. Too much work to can 60 jars up.

Mmmmm......Elk!
