Hey everyone. Hope all the American's had a great Turkey day. Thank you all for the well wishes and turkey day shout outs. We really appreciate it during a rough holiday weekend. We spent ours in a simmer down mode which was a good thing. I was so pissed off Wednesday I was ready to walk from the deal that day. I know that I don't make the most rational decisions when I get irritated so I used yesterday and today to try and calm down.
Seems like my wisdom of avoiding all people was rewarded. Ms Stank got the email saying the paperwork on the Septic was finally in order and signed off so now the money people can do their thing. That means we are happy people again. Should close the beginning of the week.
Now being the pessimist that I am, I am waiting for someone to realize they screwed something else up and still managing to screw us up with the closing date, but the good thing is that I don't feel the need to burn down a town LOL.
On a plants note, we just finished sexing the DTF and Stankberry plants again. We got official confirmation on all except for one. There are 3 girls in the DTFs (#1, #2, #4) with one male (#3), and the Stankberry are showing 2 girls for sure (#2,#3), one boy for sure (#1) and the runt isn't showing anything clearly and could go either way. All good news on that....but kind of hoping that #4 of the Stankberry will be a boy that I can cull. I am going to hold on to #1 Stankberry for now since its a very strong looking plant and might be worth keeping around to make some F2s to sample and run.
