Caught up finally, plants are looking gooood, way better than mine. I think I screwed up my seedling mix. What's is stanks soil btw? Is that a secret recipe!? My plants on day 13 are about halfway as "caught up" as yours....kinda bummed about that ! Will be following along if you don't mind!
Hey LaquerHead, glad to have you join us! Feel free to grab a chair and a snack!
Stank Soil.....thats my homemade soil. If we were on the old site, you could find my link on the blog and see what I put in it but the blogs aren't working yet. When I started growing.....Ms Stank and I talked about all the different options and both being avid outdoor veggie gardeners, we agreed we wanted a water only, living organic soil. We don't feed any synthetic nutes.....just water with aerated compost teas. We also don't have to do any flushing and this grow I have basically thrown away the pH pen. We don't pH and we don't measure PPM. Just throw some water or ACT on the plants every few days. In the big pots, the girls can go about 5 days between water. In the smaller pots, it takes about 3 days. We wanted a low maintenance soil that allows us the freedom to leave for up to a week if we wanted to and the Stank Soil gives us just that. Its still a work in progress, as I expect it to be for up to another year or two with little tweaks here and there but we are pretty happy with it so far.
No worries about keeping up, we aren't going anywhere. We will be dropping new beans every 2 weeks or so, so there will always be stuff in different phases of growth. Next up is a Northern Lights getting dropped tomorrow
