Ok, so we just had some shit go down in the Stank garden that is gonna change things up a bit.
I was in the flower tent watering all the girls and i started to move the widow and when I did, half her mainline flopped over and split the stem in half. So while I am not quite ready to harvest her at this minute, it moved up her timeline to any day. I moved her downstairs cause I am fearful of triggering nanners with that main stem split. I gave her the last drink she will get.....another gallon of rain water. We might not harvest her tomorrow, but I can't see her making it out of the weekend. She is at 66 and 56 days respectively (flip and with hairs). She still isn't densing up the way all other strain have under this light so I don't really think its going to matter how much time I give her. I was going to try to take her another 10 days but not even going to waste our time with it.
So what does that mean? That means I will be up potting the Black Cherry Punch to a 10 gallon pot tomorrow. I will give her a week in the pot and then flip her. I could do the Meltdown instead but I am trying to spread her canopy a bit wider before I do anything with her flowering. I think my plan is give her one more week in her current pot and then up pot her to a 10 gallon and give her another week and then flip. That will give her about 2 more weeks to widen her canopy before flipping.
We will likely bring the Gorilla Glue Auto back down at that point and she can finish under the Dwarf Star if necessary.
Kind of sucked to have the stem split but things happen for a reason and now we have a lot more room to work with. Plus y'all know I have been frustrated with the widow and her airy nature for several weeks now. Honestly will be glad to get rid of her. Now one thing this does is change my plans with her clone (which is going crazy since I planted it 2 days ago....holy shit you should see the roots in the clear solo cup. Never seen roots explode like this. Anyways, I am going to grow the clone out quickly to flower to see if the mainlining did anything toward stressing her to be so light and airy. I will keep her small and won't wait long to flip her once she is big enough.
