Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Jack Herer Auto Update

Things are a bit slow on the Auto front. Not a big fan of needing to having this big ass pot in my tent with a tiny plant in it, but I am sure it will change soon. Not sure what is up with the colors on the leaves, but not too worried.....I still see new growth coming up. I figure another 2 or 3 weeks and this plant will become interesting.

Stankberry Veg Day 20 Update

Been a bit over a week since I have updated the Stanks. They are doing well, though look a bit sad after their watering....a bit droopy. I think all the plants are getting used to the new light as well.

They are growing fast! I haven't been doing any of the leaf tip spreading on these as I want to see how they grow on their own. Hoping to be able to identify the sex of them soon. Will take a peak at them at some point today.

Just getting around to navigating the new site and haven't been around for a few days but looks like the Stank Genetics are flourishing like we all thought they would. Great job Van
Oh when did this journal go soft porn on us? Miss a few days and come back and don't know how far back i should go on this journal. Glad to see all is having fun and ms stank is getting in on things quickly

That #1 Stankberry looks to be getting some big shoulder on it. I hope I'm wrong but that is looking like a boy to me.

Its ironic you say that Beez! I have been thinking that for the last week and we just looked and saw pre flowers with the naked eye....#1 is a girl. I was sure #1 was a boy and #2 was a girl, but its looking just the opposite...though the verdict isn't out completely on #2.

Needless to say I topped both Stanksberry plants this afternoon

Here are a couple pics of what we discovered. You can see clearly #1 is showing its hair, while #2 isn't showing much on its pre-flowers at this point. I am hoping for another girl Stank but I am betting #2 is a male.

And here is #2

Well congratulations to you and Ms. Stank on your girl. Hope she has a sister.

I am shocked brother.....I swear to you I topped #2 before I looked at #1 because I was just absolutely sure #1 was going to be a boy and #2 was going to be a girl. I figured I would just top #2 now and start getting a few more tops on her. Figured I would just compost #1 LOL, so I didn't bother to even look until I went to defoliate a couple of the leaves I dripped tea on. When I went to cut them, I caught the little glimpse of the hair.

We also got confirmation that Ms Stank's Harlequin #2 is a girl. We are 95% sure #1 has balls on it. But we are very pleased to say the least that we have 1 girl for both strains. If the boys are really boys, it will make freeing up some space a lot easier!

Hoping you have 2 girlies
I hope so too brother, but I am not betting on it. We are about 95% sure her 2nd plant is a male and who knows on my other Stank......I think it looks male but I was wrong about #1 so only time will tell.

Looking great over here man.. they do look a little stressed from the light but no worries. Congrats on the girls the both of ya!:yahoo: Will be exciting to see how lucky i get when i grow some reg seeds. A fun new adventure in growing hehe.:Namaste:
Yeah the light is a bit much for them I think. Dimmer switch is ordered but still have 10 days or so before it will be here.

The Nukehead had to be up-potted. I saw the lower growth turning a bit light green/yellow and I pulled her up and peeked at her roots....she was ready for some more dirt for sure. I figure the Stankberries might be just about ready for a new pot and more dirt as well. Trying to hold off another 5 days or so. Not going to put the Stankberry in 7 gallon pot....just going to do a 5 gallon since I won't be vegging for long on that one.

The Jack Herer Auto is in a 10 gallon.......the Nukehead #2 is in a 7 gallon, thinking I should have swapped them LOL. Thats ok, the Nukehead only has about 2 weeks until it gets flipped

On a side note.....stabilized my tent RH and Temps a bit more. We realized that one of our side passive intakes had flopped closed so we were only getting limited airflow back into the tent. If you remember, I posted that the light was running a bit hotter than I though it would. Well since we opened the 2nd passive intake (Duh dumbass!!) the temps have dropped down to the 77-79 range with full power on.

I also learned that even though the 6" carbon filter and fan pull my humidity out of the tent faster than I want......I can close the door to the spare room and crack the window (half inch...maybe 3/4 of an inch) and the humidity will go up to the range I am looking for, and the temps stay lower and fresh air gets sucked in.

77-79 is much better than the 84-86 range I was seeing. We will get this shit dialed in at some point LOL!
