I vegged the Northern Lights for 70 days.....she was just a beast. I generally shoot for about 60 days in veg. She was so big that I worried she wouldn't finish ok in the 10 gallon pot so I up potted her to a 15 gallon right before flip so I gave her three or four extra days and then flipped.

I am generally growing in 7-10 gallon pots, but if I have a girl that shows me she wants to be huge I will go bigger....like with the Northern Lights.

I'm about to switch up to 10 gal pots as well. I generally grow in 5 gal now. I've seen quite a few people jumping up to 10's and growing monster autos. Time to hop on that bandwagon. Love me some monster plants!

how can she not. if smoking her doesnt work just smack yourself with a bud to fall asleep:rofl:

oh and have you tried the Chocolate Mint OG ? crazy bedtime smoke to me :) one cap of her oil puts me to sleep 3 times faster so it takes about 30 minutes now :P

Haha last time I asked Ase about the northern light but actually I had just forgotten it was yours! Looks amazing! Colas from head to toes! Looks like a perfect grow!

I started out in 5s and I like them.....but I love bigger plants with my plant count. If I didn't have plant counts, I would likely stay in the 5-7 gallon range and do more plants for more variety.

Of course I am a big advocate of listening to the plant. Some plants will show you they want to grow big. Others won't grow hardly at all. I find I have a pretty good idea about 6 weeks into veg as to how big they want to get. Just watch your girls and see what they tell ya.

Not sure how much I am going to do with them. Probably not going to do much at all with the Tangie x Ghost Train Haze. I will probably start trying to train the BCP a bit as soon as I give her the all clear. But I gotta say, its kind of nice to just watch em do their thing every once in a while.

I haven't tried the CMOG, but I do have some seeds for it. Too many seeds and not enough time!

It would be nice but I still have my doubts. I keep fighting the urge to chop her to make room......but I also want to get everything I can from her! I hope you are right.

Hmm I always struggle with the pace of your journal... but the NL got huge like you expected. It kinda looks like one of these massive Afghanis indeed. Hmm no smell, eh? The SS in early flowering had no smell at all, which was really weird and only later settled into something quite nice. I get too much tropical fruit everywhere, I need to make it more real :passitleft:

Hmm get some hash with that bud, it might take it to another level :thumb:

Haven't ever tried hash or making it. Might play around with it a bit here eventually. I have a bubble hash machine I picked up from Vex in his massive sale.
 
Yes...Van, get some good bags, ...five bag set from Bubbleman...bestest bags. We can do a few runs on the same day....lol.
 
Bubble hash will do. Indicas really need it to squeeze out this nice, all-round high. If you use all your bud and trim, and process it, then you're gonna get the essence :cool:
 
Yes, any good , resin encrusted sugar leaf trim or buds , of course, give the hobbiest , the best chance of getting 'full melt' BH. Cheers.
