Bonus Updates
Here are a coupe shots of some cobbing I did with about 1.5 oz of the Nukehead harvest (well it was 1.5 ounces when I weighed it, but it dried a bit more than I wanted yesterday due to the heat and lost about 15 grams of weight. No worries.
So essentially this process is a fermentation process that renders the cannabis usable in an edible or smokeable form that is supposed to be much more intense and long lasting when ingested in the edible form. In the smoking form, it is supposed to far more smooth and tastier.
I have not done this before so I am following the guidelines put forth in @SweetSue 's thread on cobbing. I will add that link to my signature at some point today. The quick gist of it for anyone interested is you take a new harvest, wash the buds, hang dry them for a couple days and then you will essentially roll them into corn husk as tightly as possible, tie it up and put it in a vacuum sealed bag and then sweat it at 104-140 degrees for 24 hours. After that, it gets inspected for any moisture showing in the bag......if its got droplets of moisture, you open it up and dry it off and re-seal it and continue to ferment for roughly 7 days in the range of 78-87 degrees. Once that is done, it goes into the cure process (cool dark spot for 1-3 months).
I did this with some of the Stankberry harvest and I will continue to take at least an ounce and a half and put them to cobs. I may increase the % if I find its my preferred method to smoke or ingest. Fun times we are living in guys!! Fun times.
And lastly, we dropped a new bean last night. Next on the docket will be Sue's favorite.....Carnival from Ministry of Cannabis. The seeds were small and I have an iffy feeling about the one I randomly selected (I generally just reach in and grab one.......rarely do I choose a specific seed). I guess we will see soon enough huh!
