I like how your ladies have grown. Yep you are in trouble. Supercrop time. ;)
Our ladies look close in age and we could both be chopping in the same week or so (mine are 8 to 10 week strains)
Clearly they love the flouros. I'm looking to clone soon and I was thinking of getting a 4 or 8 bulb T5 for propagation. 6400k?
How has your experience been with them? Which color temps are you using?:reading420magazine:

Best buy ever. I have the 2', 8 bulb. Pulls 192 from wall. 3, 65 watt CFL'S bring it up to almost 400 wall watts. I'm using both 6400K and 5400k, cfl's at 6500K (photo flash bulb).

Designer Series (hydrofarm) is 24" x 24" x 5 ish. Clone's love it. Opps, got hot outside AC out, no problem, very low heat. But with 3 cfl's it get hot, but not even close to a 400 watt MH bulb.

Although expensive by floro standards, the T5 Quantum (Badboy is old model,Commercial is the new) is one I have my eye on.
It would be used for vegging and cuttings only in my 4x2 tent. I'm leaning toward the 4 or 6 bulb.
The 8 might be too tight a fit in there.

Can I ask a noob question here? The drooping you had, would this type of drooping usually be caused by root problems? What I see when I look at the picture is a combination of droop, dying leaves and bad color. Is it the combination of these that makes it possible to determine it's root-related, or would that droop be enough to make the call?

Trying hard to learn to read them and I still lack enough experience in my own grows with the kit. I'll be starting another tent of them soon though, so I'm determined to pay closer attention.

Got my kit today Stage. I gotta try Hi Brix too man. I picked up a refractometer to test Brix levels too. Cant sleep wait man. Your stuff is lookin good man.

haha man. Yea, I got 2 months plus before I can use the 1st one but I know what you mean. Im gonna do a side by side with 4-5 plants Hi Brix and 4-5 with the whole advanced lineup when my room is done with the current grow.

How much that Advanced line up set you back? You have all the various ones that increase yield 20-30%?

Yep doc I sure do. $650 bucks in them. Like 12-14 different bottles invthe schedule I run. Fire away doc, fire away.

I think most of us have a good idea of what the outcome will be with the 2 grows but it will be awesome to put side by side right?

As long as yeild is decent using Brix I just want real good stuff.

Hey Stage,
Yessir. I've used mine mainly as a flower light, opened up, on 100% on both dials. Kept it 18" -20" away from canopy and got goood deep penetration 18" -24" down in a 3x3 tray. It still performs well to this day. Have a BluedreamxBarberry Brute cross finishing under it right now and the main cola cola is only 8" away( plant is over 3' tall and has my canopy uneven) she's suffering a bit for it but it's ok.
The xml only adds 2 degrees to the temp of the flower tent(in my environment).
The plants will drink/eat differently under the xml than hps,cmh etc. Took me a bit of time to adjust to the "cooler" environment the light created as did the plants.The cooler running temps allow for slower evaporation. I run hempy buckets so that is a def plus.

Haha, yeah good advice! Finishing up with my grow and I already need to order some more DB goods. Doc also sells everything in larger sizes. I need more amendment for sure. When I get home tomorrow I need to do the inventory assessment.

You can PM doc and say you want enough to do like 3-4 batches of soil. And nutrients to do 3-4 runs and he could figure it out. Then after that just replace what you are missing. I am glad I got quarts of everything. It's nice not to have to worry you will run out!
 
Morning Stage....how's all my brotha....what Gov. Shiggs and gaffle said bud.....best to buy "Kit" stuff in bulk and get two "kit's" worth going at once ..ie . always have two in rotation (one in use , one cooking for next run), but don't buy the "kit" one at a time...best to go bulk. For instance it takes 1, 1/2 pounds of amendment per Kit so i just got 6 pounds from Doc....enough for 4 kit's worth. I just weigh out 1, 1/2 pounds and re mix and re cook....bingo....now you always have a kit's worth of DBHBB ready to use!:thumb:
