dang Squiggle, since better late than never journal you’ve gained serious weight. I mean like 42 pages worth, Im never gonna catch up now. The ceiling looks amazing but help me with perspective here, is the black used to hold and hide up-lighting fixtures? Wood plaster sheetrock - is that tray up?

Yeah it's an uplighting , tray up feature and it's all made of MDF. Do you lot call it that over there?

Im planning on doing a sea of green under the Sylstar gl4000, but I'm after a strain that's good for anxiety and pain. I know the sour diesel is great for anxiety as we get a load of it off our farmer up in your country, but it doesn't do anything for the wife's pain.. so any recommendations are greatly appreciated...

Recovering a Sour Diesel, due to soil PH being nearly 10

Day 11 of Re-veg; of a flowering, recovering Blueberry, who had the same toxic soil, due to using bicarb of soda as a pH up.


Howdy do folks, hope alls growing well with you lot..

Not much to report; the sickly blueberry reveg is on a go slow. She has produced a weird shaped bud though, it's just a ball of round leaves, a few pistils and it's rock hard also

It's looks like a blackberry.

I suppose its still early days though, as she's still not into her second week of reveg. She will be pretty confused aswell, saying she's mid flower.

She has gave me a nice little gift of perfect micro leaves, from way down at the bottom.. maybes I shouldn't have pulled them off,but they were so pretty, I wanted to preserve them by pressing them between the pages of a book..

If you open any book in this house at page 420, a cannabis leaf will fall out..

The Sour D

In the UK, we are heading into autumn and the temperatures have plummeted; Which is a good thing for the Sour D, as I can finally crank the @Sylstar GL4000 up to Max power

Jebus Krypes is that thing bright. Ive had to start wearing sunglasses when I go in there, I will probably have to wear sunscreen too
Does anyone else wear eye protection in their grow rooms?


It's drawing 448 Watts at the wall and my lux meter is reading 900@ 100x. So that's 900000 luxy things at 20 inches.. so it's a pretty damn impressive light, if you can keep the temperatures down that is.Its going to be perfect in the winter..
Im pretty happy with it now

I must also say that the AC INFINITY cloudline extraction is a god send.. it regulates the humdidity and temps automatically.. well worth the investment...

Sour D is fattening up quite nice, all the new growth is healthy and even the older damaged leaves are not getting any worse. So I'm happy with her..

That blueberry looks funky but cool and yeah still early days for re vegging from half way through flower cool to se what happens with it and good to se the sour d getting better and recovering strong mate looking good

Looking good, Squig. A few more weeks and that reveg will come back to life for you. I agree with the eye protection. You don't want to be burning your eyes out. I ended up with an eye twitch last year not long after buying a light and always wondered if it was from not wearing proper protection at first. A lot of these LEDs have a 120 degree viewing angle so even when you're not directly under the fixture you need to be careful. I had that duplicate image issue a few times... just yesterday actually. The way I fixed it was to click the Toggle BB code button and remove them that way.

But how in the earth u having 10pH soil? Haven’t you flushed out the up/down buffers after applying them?
If you still having some pH down supplements I would mix up a gallon or couple of ~6.5pH water and flush the soil. Then it should be somewhere between 6-7pH and the soil itself should buffer it back to ~6.5 or w.e the label says.

If over 9pH, only absorbable fert is Nitrogen.

The soil is at 6 now, but they are still recovering from it being at ten. The damage has been done and it will take a while for full recovery. Maybes my title on that post is misleading..
