Spookiest Outdoor Journal

Hahaha and good moogly to you too sir! Haha did you check out the hanging watermelon garden I started in the rotating clothesline?

You know I did! Going to be watching that like a hawk! It's still pretty cold at times here. Getting into the 30's (Fahrenheit) tonight smh. Been doing a LOT of prep for our veggies. Built a Runner bean teepee! Thinking about planting a watermelon in the middle and letting it trail out. What do you think? I don't have anywhere to trellis melons but it sounds dope! Going to be watching for sure!

They are very clingy. They would find enough purchase against that back wood fence if you tied some string long ways about a foot apart between the vertical poles. I think hanging them is cooler so you could use the teepee for that or even a stake with carefully attached with wire vine Ive seen produce some neat hanging melons. You will nail it so trust me its all about hanging melons. Next level and don't leave a white spot where it was on the ground.

One med one high res upload. Can take a breather now for a few hours probably.

Holy crap man, them girls are getting huge :) looking absolutely healthy as all hell, doing a great job mate, cage is working out really well, dont know why so many haters, all they need to do is look with their own eyes :thumb:

I think with letting them veg the full season as you did, they aren't going to stretch as much so I would say go ahead and even out the canopy if that's what your going for. I also think I'm going to put up some wire caging again the pack part of the fence and give the hanging melons a try. U talked me into it!

304% stretch if I can achieve it has been noted before. I'm expecting a significant amount. 2-3x. That would put just over cage for a nice net. I'm glad you are getting ball rolling there. You can't have enough wire cage hanging around (pun intended I wrote that) if you are growing melons!

Thanks!

If she doesnt fill the cage after stretch you could always cut the cage down to her level ;) not sure if it would be needed though, just would make it easier to get to the center of the plant for defol later on ;)

Hey thats not a bad idea just incase. Im going to use one of those grandma grab extender arms for hard to reach cans etc. I saw it in my tutorial vid months ago Mendo Boys were joking about it was hoping I'd have to require one.

Spinosyd reapplication with 4ml/L roughly cannaboost (thanks Sneaky) seasol and molasses. Drilled through a whole jar of molasses pretty much out gonna have to get hands on more. A hat my friend gave me for zucchini.
