I just dumped a bucket of worm casting etc mix on the radar because I couldn't figure out how to top dress. Then I hosed it down for a while picked out the rocks and eucalyptus leaves that weren't decomposed fully and washing away. The mix is what my mate calls silk its got perlite and compost and a bunch of secretive stuff.
Interesting to note if you google "spinosyd ladybugs" the consensus is that it will not harm beneficial insects such as ladybugs. Classic. He's just got no food.
