MONDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE & PIC DUMP
Before we get into it, apologies for being a little "scarce" the last week, or so.
While my Dad's surgery went very well, his recovery isn't going as "smoothly" and, his Parkinson's Disease makes it much more difficult. So, I've been doing a LOT of running back & forth, etc. and just haven't been able to post in everyone's journals as much as I'd like. I will get caught up everywhere I may not be ASAP!
In the mean time, the grow has been going great.
The Orient Express is just starting to show some trichomes but I don't expect it to catch up to the other two strains any time soon. Hopefully, it will turn out to be some good meds cuz', to be honest, I'm not likely to pop any more OE beans based on my experience of the first one being a male and the current one nice, but fairly unimpressive.
The Bubba Hash plants all look and smell fantastic with a distinct hash smell and strong showing of trichomes. I haven't "smell-tested" the Platinum Cake, yet, but the frost on those buds is thick!
Here's today's pics which is day #45 of 12/12 for the BBK's and OE and day #37 for the Platinum Cake:

Plants look good bud! I am sure no one is going to hold you being busy helping take care of your pops against you. I hope that his recovery starts going a little more smoothly in the near future bud!

DAY #47/39 OF 12/12 - QUICK PIC UPDATE
There should be about four weeks left before the Bubba Hash and Platinum Cake are ready for harvest and the Orient Express about a week later. The OE is 8 days ahead of the PCake in the flower tent, but it's also a 10 week strain where the PCake should finish in about 8 weeks.
Here's a quick shot of the tent:
The Orient Express colas getting nice & fat. The OE is showing a lot of fade since the CATs. And, this strain really stinks! It's a musky/skunky smell that, while I usually like skunk, the smell on this is not that appealing, at least not yet to me. I'm interested to see how it cures cuz' it does reek, and in a "good" way, I just don't find the smell particularly pleasant. Here are some of the OE colas:
A couple of the taller Bubba Hash colas got too close to the light and got a little sunburn, but that shouldn't effect the smoke and I expected/predicted this when I saw how tall the colas got during stretch, although, only a few were effected:
Here are some nice, frosty & fat Bubba Hash buds. These smell great - just like hash!
And, finally, a few of the incredibly frosty, but not nearly as plentiful, Platinum Cake buds:
The PCake should be getting her final CAT drench this week.
