it's just that i was trying to do a window love starting and maybe a month of growth then in to the tent but we've been having some rain the last few days so the pots didn't dry out and i think the tap root rotted. It's all good I got another bunch of seeds and going to get more shortly. Can never have to many seeds. I'm starting to think the hermies weren't the temps at all or maybe a combination of a few things but it's all good in the hood (see I'm with it).

I feel your pain brother. Things are looking shaky at Headroom Towers too. Looking on the bright side we're learning as we go. Our next grows will be amazing, and the one after that even more so. Would we change things? Yes. Are we going to give up? Hell no!

Like i said before I wasn't really expecting them to grow it's not the season for screwing around out doors or even in an enclosed terrace as the temp at night still drops to unacceptable levels for seedlings. I was just seeing if they would pop and were viable seeds which it seems they are.
L.A. I pmed ya about spannabis your booth is in a great spot. I'm getting super excited. I was thinking about starting a thread to see who is all going.

So right now we're sitting at just over 3 and they are all flowering up nicely and nothing new to report the sweet skunk is loving being tied down (the little hoe). They are all gonna be starting on 1ml/l grow, 1ml/l bloom, 1ml/l topmax and 1/2ml/l root juice (gonna stop the root juice next week). Other then the hermies earlier on I haven't really had a problem at all everything is going smoothly no more nanners. Even my stunted last blackberry seed is growing never seen a plant this small she's adorable

Awesome Sweet Skunk. I've grown 3 indoor/outdoor, and that's the largest i've seen so far ;-) lol
it would probably work also great with the Jack 47 Auto that i'm growing.

Glad you're changing out the CFL! They are indeed poop when it comes time to flower. Did you get your LED purchasing squared away yet? Maybe keep the CFL once the new light arrives, you can never have too much full spectrum light

Got em picked out just waiting for funds maybe next run.... I did get some seeds given to me from a local seed bank (philosophers seeds 5 white Yodas) but will have to wait to get the light my next journal will either be a few autos scrog or a one plant scrog (also got 5 sweet love) but haven't decided

Too bad about Trippy - were those random seeds from the LSD selfies? I've been reading up on cannabis genetics and from what I understand selfie seeds can throw phenos that are all over the board, from the ritz to the shits. I wish I had space to run a SOG with a fistful of selfies so I could see different traits come out in plants that have the same genetic material. Plus, you always hear about some magical strain that emerges from bag seed - many of which are probably selfies. It'd be like playing the lottery!

I can't believe how fast those autos mature! They're looking robust!

it wasn't trippy she was a success I guess minus the few seeds. most if not all the seeds came from a few branches that had a bit of light leak. from the passive vent but it's solved now. as for the autos they are getting bigger and bigger I'm really hoping the stretch stops soon as I've had to be moving my light daily. next up date will come when I get time been having a few issues with this new camera and a few family troubles.... But we shall see if i can get this crappy old phone that had a fall in the sea not so long ago to work it's been sitting in rice for about 2 weeks now keeps shorting out.

Well that was a pain in the ass but got a few pics had to keep the phone plugged in and if I moved the wrong way the phone would shut off and reset took me forever it seemed and three resets. By my count it's the start of week 4 today the sweet skunk says 8 weeks but that's obviously not the case...

Well just went down and had a look at the ladies and noticed they are getting a tiny amount of clawing, so going to cut the fish mix down to what it says on my auto feeding schedule from the shop. I had it 1ml/l higher. I thought that since my plants will be probably going a week or two more then scheduled that I could taper off slower but I guess it was a bit much. Starting today If anyone is interested they will be getting 2.5ml/l bloom, 2ml/l fishmix, 2ml/l topmax, 1ml/l alg-a-mic. Each plant is getting about 500ml every two or three days, I could be giving less every day but I'm trying to keep the roots from going root bound so I'm kinda in my way of thinking stunting their root growth by watering more less often. Less more often apparently encourages root growth as it searches for more nutes more often.
I also think the reason these little guys are stretching so much is that I spun my light around to the "red" side to early and that I should of waited another week before doing so. I guess I can compare it to switching from a mh to hps bulb to soon. The stretching should slow down maybe next week and the buds should start to develop.

Oh almost forgot I've got the go ahead from the missus to get the light so I'll be putting the order in next week or the week after still trying to decide if I want a smaller reflector48 for the next run or just go with the mars 2 400w. Either way it'll be better then this cfl.

I think I Must take advantage of the fact that I am single (and stoned most of the time) to hack some more corners of my own house.... like, double or triple size with boxes in the toilets too !!
This , or getting a GF and getting laid.... difficult to say, what would real girls would say ?? (a real girl, not some plant in a pot that you guy call "ladies" naaah) lol) lol
would it cost more than a mars hydro 1200 ??? lol

just kidding, real love probably worth more than a few dozens of buds , right ? (in terms of High AND medical advantages ) would be an interesting debate though.


NB: SPART: I still keep my CFL in addition to leds ! it is good light and the long ones put vertically allow to send light where a light from the top would never reach , at branch roots, etc... it does help the leds ( + visually speaking, you will be able to see something because led light make your weed dark-grey-violet, hard to see anything without a proper blue light like your Dual CFL which should be simply awesome together with leds if the lelectricty bill is not too much.
I will try containers of 11 liters next, instead of 6 as it is now.

Mine are 7l now as well i think next run I'm gonna get one of the big 18l. scrog the shit out the entire tent making a net with some piping in a few days probably gonna make it 58 x 58cm should be a good size for my tent. Leaving 2 cm around for wires or whatever. plus if i end up getting the reflector48 it covers maybe 50 x 50 cm in flowering so should be a perfect fit for the tent til i get a mars 2 400w.

So as it turns out I'm gonna have to water my one plant a lot more, I opened the tent and she was droopy like she wasn't water for weeks. The west coast is already starting to frost up smells almost black peppery in there now. I think the skunk has finally stopped growing I will definitely have to harvest her in two chops I think because of the height differences between the main cola and the lower ones.

Maybe week 2 of flowering I think. She's an auto so I haven't been keeping track of the flowering time. She might take maybe 8-9 weeks max just a guess because her card says 7.5 weeks. So maybe a month more before i got any smoke I might not wait to get/ install the light. Wonder what the spectrum switch will do to the girls.

No I'll be putting my ordering in next week for it. Will probably have it the week after or something so they would be in like week 7 or 8 by that time the growth and most of the swelling should be done so no point in stressing them out switching the light.

Here's a question for all you scroggers out there. What sized pot would you use to fill a 60 x 60cm area? I've googled it but didn't really get a straight answer. Most say it depends on how long the plant is alive 1 gallon (3.8l) per month or around there seems to be the normal. Also what size do you all make the width of the netting?
