Sparks Pops Beans Indoors, In Soil, Under Boards: 'Bout Time!

Looking great Sparks! Really eating those leaves.... Sweet.

Thanks Lowrider! Much appreciated. Yeah i knew that the girls in two gallon pots were not going to end up looking too great going into flower. Honestly, its just not enough pot/dirt for the amount of plant that im trying to get out of it. I run LOS living organic soil and micro biology is very important to this way of growing. But when trying to use smaller pots, it gets harder and harder to keep things balanced and in sync with the less soil you have in play. The Jellybreathe is in a 4 gallon bucket, and the soil used to up pot was amended with ground, malted barley. Everything else is only in 2 gallon pots. These (4 gal.) are the buckets i usually use ×4 in my 39"×39" tent, and gives me best results for what im doing. Start with seed or clone in solo cup just til she's stable enough to transfer, then up to a 1-2 gallon for some veg, then into the 4 gallon buckets (×4) for usually another week to 10 days...two weeks top to bush out a little, then flip to 12/12.
But, further back in this journal i had a dozen plants, was hoping to run 6-9 females in the 2 gallon pots with minimal training/topping to fill the tent. But only ended up with these 4 girls once we flipped to flower and all the boys couldn't hide anymore. Should've up-potted all at that point, but figured what the hay...i've already got a few rooted clones of each female for the next one. So they will get better the second and third time around.

Wow Sparks, some great looking plants there. That jellybreath bx is quite the frosty specimen.

Thanks UB! I think she's great! But honestly, the pic's dont do these girls justice. One day ill get a real camera... anyways, i don't like sounding like that jerk that swears everything he touches is fire! Lol! Im human. I make mistakes. Quite frequently. (:
Thanks for chiming in.

Oh yeah, as for those seeds that were put into water, duds! Dead, done, finito! Put another wifi×Bubba and mk Ultra a couple days ago. This time using the paper towel method. Been two days (48hrs) and when i cheched, nothing. No chenge. Just looked like wet seeds. No swelling or cracking. Not feeling good about it right now. Got seeds from someone new? On some gram thang or another. Lessons learned. Not a big hit. Just bummed more than anything. Going to be some bass 420 sales! Woo-Hoo! Lol! Seedsman got MK Ultra by TH Seeds , and a couple of the others. Think im going to stop buying seeds for awhile. Maybe just chuck a bunch in water and see what pops up!
When life gives you lemons...make lemonade.

Lemon merange pie is good too.....
hehe.
I grow in 4gallon buckets too.
Can be a bit restrictive grow wise, but with a bad back it makes, things easier.
Must be a pain to keep a balance like you say, I use coco but only top quality nutes, like organics but...pretty shit at it. Haha.

Mmmmm....pie....

I always pop them in water. Last time I popped I got 100% germination rate. Seems easier to me.

Thats what i usually do too. But i tried that the first time and it was a no go. That time was from cup of water (about 20-24 hrs) then when the tail sprouted, into the solo cups. Its the way ive done it for years. So the next time i used more of the same seed into moistened paper towel but this time nothing. They turned to mush after about five days. No swelling, no tail.
No worries...we have more seed!
*rubs hands together with a mischievous grin*

I posted this in another journal and figured that i might as well share with those of you who have been patient enough, and kind enough to tag along. I get the aloe flakes from buildasoil and put it into a jar that i got when purchasing a quarter zip from a legal recreational dispensary here in southern California (Gotta love that!) Then i cut the original package and either glue or use clear tape to tape it to the jar. Add a silica packet to keep your goods dry...and voila! Makes it easy to add a sprinkle to my watering containers or jugs. Manufacturer recommends a quarter teaspoon per gallon of water but i alot of the time use nearly half of that even! Just my two cents...

Bummer about those duds Sparks. They sounded like some pretty good crosses. Did your clones set roots?
I know right? Yeah, clones are %100! All rooted in solo cups of LOS. Put one of each into about 1/2-3/4 gallon sqaure pots. Same first run LOS Cootstyle, with some added ground malted barley mixed in. It really seems to get the old micro biology, and fungi going. Soil food web is a trip when i think about it. Anyway,
enjoy the rest of your evening.
Oh yeah. Not worried about the seeds. They are but a few grains of sand from the sandy beaches that i have in stock! Lol! Im already working on replacements directly from the breeder or their approved vendor(s).
And, a few other things! Lol! God, i know. I fuckin terrible when it comes to buting seeds!
