So how many of them male sacs do you put into that jar before you stick
'em to your female? Maybe a dumb question...but I havent done it yet..
I'm planning to breed my White Rhino male with a lady yet-to-be-determined.

hmm just a few flowers worth of dust is going to be plenty to do one plant i bet
its highly concentrated... meant to be dispersed into the wind not stuck into a little bottle lol.

if the tip of a small, soft-bristle paintbrush is covered with the stuff you just have to barely touch each pistil with that. could do a lot of buds that way and not seed the whole plant, if using all the safty procedures...

ill let it keep going till i get a lot to freeze too.. always nice to have extra supplies around =)

ps.
oh also just have to wait till i have some sizeable buds to go ahead and touch some pollen on there.
or about 3.5-4 weeks into flowering..whichever happens first.

but it also depends on the strain and what the lenght of the flowering time is... you want to avoid having a plant that is ripe and ready to harvest, with a lot of seeds that are not finished.

so definetly no later than 4 weeks ever, i guess =) someone feel free to correct me if wrong lol ty

can i ask like.. a couple questions?

first, why are you keeping the male? are you trying to make a new strain or clones or something? just curious.


and also, how do you flush and when do you need to do it?

i know that you wanna flush like.. the last two weeks before you harvest to get all the nutes out so you get a cleaner smoke, but anything else I need to know?

i'm really into growing just don't have a place to do it yet.

yeaaaah i love kushies especially the purple kind mmm

letsee as far as flushing goes you can do a "pre-harvest flush" like you are describing,
or just a "maintenance flush"
to clean out the soil of salt/fertilizer buildup and reset the PH balance.
and to make the new nutrients work better..
it makes the plants happy =)

i use a flushing solution,ClearEx mixed with tap water. once at about the middle of veg and then again and beginning of flower and then towards end of flower.

in the pre-harvest flush your cleaning out the soil, but not replacing any nutes in order to slowly starve the plant to death before its decapitation.
your flushing soil AND the plant.

this doesnt not make it happy.a bit different than the other one =)

as far as the male goes, id like to makes some seeds!

i have some good strains to try with...
if i can come up with anything decent ill have saved myself from the problem of coming up with way to much $money$ for seeds! and ordering some...i hate that part too blaah.

and besides that its just interesting and fun. =)

heres a problem, this male keeps getting pollen all over and the mess is multiplied every day as more flowers start opening up at once.

pretty sure i have more than enough i can probally toss him out soon

the sour-d here is also strecthing like crazy

put a bag over it and shake, then just turn the bag inside out overtop a glass surface and flick it so the pollen drops off. i only had to do that once and i got plenty of pollen. the sooner you can chuck that asshole the better.

clones were cut before 12/12 and they are rooted and growing, same old ones.

except now i just got this nice specimen of OG Kush! its going to take over a lot of my future planning.

ok well anyway, adults day 14 (2 weeks down yaaay)

dam stretcher.. i guess its from being in coco i hope she makes a lot of sour diesel!! XD

yeah had good luck finding strains lately hehe hard to pass that one up!
OG Kush is at a club in hollywood, WHCC

ill have to let her grow for quite awhile since theres no room in the good spots.
by the time there is, will have plenty more cuttings ready too =)

Lookin good bro! I'm watching that MK ultra and that GDP (love purples) sounds unreal compared to the crud I smoke over here.

LOL, I didnt buy it but a dealer i know said he could get some 'purple' for, get this, $120!?!! Thats the kinda crap I gotta deal with. High prices and O-K bud. You got it made man, dont ever take it for granted. My seeds are on the way though (nirvana white rhino) so I won't have to worry about that in a few months heh heh.

well the OG Kush was up at the WHCCH for 30$
along with Shiva, Supa Indica and White Widows for 20.

also today i saw some more Sour Diesels... and NL x Sour Diesels for 20 that was down near seal beach at herbal solutions.

they have some seed packs there too at 60 and some are excellent!
some are not ;p

i got some more to test today so crossing my fingers...

ps, oh yaah i was hoping to get some pollen on just the little buds around the bottom section mostly!
already have some pollinated by accident though i think lol not sure yet
