Sounds stupid but feeding plants kool-aid?

urine is sterile, neutral, and high enough in nitrogen that its an awesome fertilizer you dont have to pay for except in the water you drink. just remember to DILUTE IT. urine will burn plants.

Colors don't transfer across to cannabis like it does tulips or flowers. The only product I know of that affects colors in cannabis is one called purplemax and I don't see the benefit in it. Purple doesn't mean better.
Simple mollasses or pineapple juice is the answer and while urine is sterile and high in nitrogen it is a waste product and that can hurt more than it can help. I'm a med patient and take several medications every day and don't want to transfer those meds to my plants as well. And I won't even get into ladys pee whiile taking birth control or estrogen.
People really need to think about what they put into their plants. Mainly because we ingest these plants in one form or another. A lot of grow product manufacturers put out products without considering the long term effects some of the ingredients might have on us. the last thing I want is to grow a 3rd breast after 10 years of smoking weed because of some ingredient a nute manufacturer put out for big profit 10 years earlier.
IMO natural is better but even nature can surprise you.lol Think and question before you act.
 
okay so we know the mollasses and pineapple juice works for simple sugars. So how do you dilute it? In what solutions do you dilute it in? And how often is it good to feed the girls this sticky stuff.... PS does it effect taste?
 
Did you check and correct the PH of the mineral water? If not that may be why they died, lil ones are fragile in many ways PH being the big one.
 
nope i didint check the ph.
i tried it on 2 plants id thought they were going to help stimulate the roots but not so. next day they were gone.
i think i miight have used carbonated water.
 
Seedlings are super fragile and shouldn't have any nutes added until they are at least 2 weeks old IMO. I refuse to add them to my NFT until they show 4 true sets of leaves and then I start out at 1/4 strength dosage.
Seedlings in soil definately don't need nutrients until 4 true sets of leaves show because there are enough nutrients in the soil to feed them. Adding any minerals could be too much and burn the fragile feeder roots.
When babies are new less is best.

lol well its my first grow and i dont know i just am having fun but i havnt done any of that since


im in 10th week flowering now as of today
and i sampled a bud last night used the blow dryer method in a envelope it worked it was such a clear clean high was nice im just waiting for the crystals to get bigger now , next grow i am going to actully buy ph tester strips and sensi grow and nuts and things i really want a light that uses a ballest but too expensive for me right now
 
Ok so i tried the pee thing and i also diluted it and it seems like it worked pretty good i only tried on one of my plants but seems like it really likes it grew a bit
 
Crazy kids trying all these wierd and strange concoctions.:cheesygrinsmiley: Be careful guys that you don't do something that isn't reversable. Kool aid has sugars which might help a little once they break down to a useable form. pee is high in nitrogen, pottasium and phosphorous but is also a waste product that contains other elements that might not be useful and could be harmful. It has to be diluted first. Personallly i think I'll stick to the tried and true elements that one buys.lol No unknowns that way.
 
Going with whats on the shelf is a safe way and efective, why else would it be there if it didnt work. I agree, but have to disagree too. If no one tried to make a better nute or find a better way to grow these beautifull plants we may not have anything to talk about on this site. Its teh adventurous side of us that makes us wonder.... can i grow this so well that i can get so stoned that i wont want to move after one small joint... lol
 
lol this is a crazy subject, but you can just put food coloring in with your water not to much but enough to change the water to desired color.....i mean you could do it at any point for any amount of time, i have heard of people useing food color during the bud fazz.....made the buds what ever color you added.....think of it as the experiments you did in grade school with the celery and red food coloring......
 
i am pretty sure i have seen buds from people doing it.....a kinda cheap way for people to pass of shity bud for something better......but i mean yo can tell.....i have never seen real blue berry as blue as have seen shity buds people were saying was the real thing.....but i mean i think it would be tight to make like some red buds.....lol or maybe tiedied lol how ever you would do that.....
 
man idk i guess i have just never heard of feeding a plant soda.....lol i mean i guess the sugar might be good.....but idk....and i have heard of peeing on your plants, but idk i think it would make your grow home smell like piss...lol not a plesent smell.....i stick with water and liquid nuitrionts... but do you think if you mist your plants with soda water it would give it more co2?
