I always had a hard time growing with salt nutes like fox farms and all the others. I always had dying leaves, even after pHing it to 6.3 evey time. You should do some hibrix! I seriously haven't had any type of issue yet, not even a single bug in the GR. Anyways, you're still killin it, I could see ya really killing it in hibrix

Yep, I've got some new strains going right now. Grizzly purple kush, lemon garlic OG, cheesy headband, opium and Tangy.

I am still considering my options. Im waffling between wanting to grow in High Brix because Ive seen the beautiful plants it produces and wanting to grow autoflowers in a cycle type grow, maybe not perpetual, but stagger them. Id never need to change the lights if I used autos and Im really considering using Atrains methods of feeding and growing autos, because he grows pretty much the best plants Ive ever seen.

I have some time to decide.. these girls here will hold my attention for quite sometime longer.

Yeah, that guy definitely knows his autos. Autos scare me a lil, I guess. I like photoperiod plants, plus I feel like photo strains might be more potent? Dunno, haven't tried an auto but I wouldn't mind.

I personally think you should give one a go. I think you might find yourself surprised by the yield and the quality of your final product.

No Christmas cooking, not yet. Ive had a hankering for a mexican dish called Calabaza con Pollo (Chicken and squash soup). Im going to make it today. It will be my first attempt, see if it tastes like I remember. Im also making some chicken salad, because my hubby wont touch squash with a 10 foot pole. LOL

My Louise taught me never to give up on one of these plants until you just have NO other option. They can and will surprise you.

UPDATE: Day 27

Hello yall.

The girls are doing very well. They are just steadily growing. Jill is spreading out all over the place and Sabrina is still humming along but doesnt take up near as much space as Jill. haha Kelly is still chugging along too. Seems she is over whatever it was that tripped her up at the start. Ive decided its time to introduce some veg nutes to Sabrina and Jill. Im not too sure about Kelly. Maybe Ill give her a drizzle and thats all. Tonight when the "sun comes up" Ill do that. Im also thinking that maybe I should top Jill, I want to promote some more bushiness. I guess Ill do the same as before. Try for a FIM and likely get a top instead. haha Hopefully the topping will get some branching going on. After that Ill supercrop, if I can. Im learning more and more that the girls will sometimes pick their own method of training. haha

Anyway, Ill update again later after feeds and trims.

Addendum: UPDATE: Day 27

Hi yall.

I grabbed the girls and fed each one about 1/2 a liter of 25% Grow Big and 1/2 tsp of molasses. Jill especially was showing yellowing of some of her lower tips. I felt the soil was still too wet to feed, but I dont think they wanted to wait any longer for some food. I even gave Kelly some, but just a little bit.

After I fed them all, I gave out haircuts; one for Sabrina and one for Jill. I tried the FIM thing again, but Im really expecting just a plain ol topping. Never know, I might have accidentally gotten lucky. lol

Oh, one more thing.. about Kelly. Im looking for her roots to reappear in the bottom of her little pot. So far, I see just a very few, but the few I do see are already making their way out of the drain holes. Im keeping my eye on her.
