Dear reader,
Welcome to our informative forum. Hopefully you'll be able to absorb a better than novice level of experience within a few days of finding a quick answer to your current questions or problems. What advice could I give to start off with?

Be. Patient. With. Yourself. The higher power growers you can absolutely trust are here. That's just to say if you need help because what you're doing isnt working you needn't second and third guess their diagnostic skills against your own. I think all of us take hits to our egos which is a good thing. If you cannot adjust your ego and learn how to gain and retain constructive criticism and information then you will only sabotage yourself and waste time..money..effort.. and patience amirite?

Soil. It's just dirt. Add a bean and then you..have patience. I have no idea how to make that point any clearer.
I have some Bruce Banner autoflower plants going right now in 5 gallon fabric pots, with soil that has both peat/compost and enriched garden soil with time released fertilizers. It's a pretty hot mix but the ph is good and it takes and holds water very well. There's some Mars Hydro LEDs doing all the work right now, this includes some seedlings that came from baggies. Skywalker OG, OG K, Gorilla OG and Orange Icecream. I had some Gelato af from a supplier and it's the only time I have ever had ZERO success in germinating viable seeds. Hopefully the replacements will kick off. Here's a couple pics to help take your mind off whatever else unimportant things you dont have to do today ;)

I have one on LST no defoliation. It's just about pinned to the deck

The piece of water hose is helping to get it up off the soil, I have the top pulled back down lower than the rest of the tops. I expected more stretch before flowering started but I see the first pistols now so I have to see what happens in the first part of this next stretching phase.
My other autoflower BB is topped/fim (idk really anybody's call on what I have is ok) showing a few pistols and getting trained into more of a manifold LST along with some super cropping

This picture from last night, the tops had already reached vertical again this morning and stretched all of the lower nodes as well. This training and LST is copying @InTheShed tutorial as close as I can. Shed has clones (which have no rootball whatsoever) training like I've never seen, that little rock amirite?
My watering schedule is also copying from @Emilya tutorials on watering. I saturation watered just to runoff this morning after 6 days and just minimal top watering. I did tilt my pots yesterday for several hours to push the "water table" as far down as possible and before watering today there was no wet zone on my soil moisture gauge. Out of a gallon I had less than a quart runoff out of both plants and the soil gauge was wet from top to bottom. It takes me about 30 to 45 minutes for each plant because I'm slowly dribbling the water as E describes. Its working very well and I expect no problems.
Please feel free to ask questions and post your positive outcome pictures using the methods above (no failure is allowed) ;)

GM to all, I have pictures from my last harvest of WW autos at 13 weeks. I kept trimming to a minimum and very minor defoliation throughout the grow. My LST training was limited and with the lower canopy open I got some good yield from all the lower nodes.

One of the biggest thickest I've ever gotten inside.

I'm pretty sure I got it too soon but overall I had a very good grow.

I have this after 115 days, and it was split harvest over two weeks so this is about 2/3 of the total..so nice over coffee with my tincture and some cured gnomesaying? ;)

GG

I had some bad brain hurts yesterday, the knives of agony slid in really slow, a sign..the weather..dream demons..idfk..
I dropped a half full tincture dropper and set it on cruise control. Had me feeling so much better I made my first ever successful batch of oil. Plugged up my Enail and omg it's so good!

Out of 15 grams and a single wash I got two grams back and the jar still has more stuck in there

Whoop Whoop! Tastes like plums and and a hint of grapefruit and smooth as silk. I got that little rush with a bit of sweats after the cough wore off and then..completely relaxed with just trickles of migraine symptoms.
Ok my recipe isnt as refined, and I went bare bones with no paper filters so I did pick up more trics in the mix. I let it set for 2 days to settle in the freezer, then siphoned off the clear as much as I could. I should've tilted the container but I got less than 10% in the final draw off.
15 grams of dried (not cured) flower
6oz of food grade ethanol (Everlcear, yes it's spelled wrong)
Fine mesh stainless strainer
Small glass container
Electric skillet with adjustable heat
2 cups of vegetable oil for the skillet cook off.
Once I have the final 'sauce' to cook down, I let the skillet get up to 225'F

This is about 3 hours into it when it's close, but I took it and rolled it around to make sure all the water and alcohol was gone. The skillet temp maintained the heat right on target but the jar stayed cool the whole time and once I got to this stage I turned the heat down to 'Warm' right about 185ish on my thermometer. The last 30 mins is the longest part because the alcohol smell is gone and you have to smell it all! GG

I've had two different people already tell me they've never had anything like it. This was flower from my first harvest plant, 78g flowers another 30 in larf/trim. The tops switched in a couple days from milky to amber showing underside so I pulled it for the headlights. I have some really amber plants curing right now, my meter keeps bouncing above 62 between burps, it's only been 5 days so no real worries. Cropped and flipped HA!

Another shot of my bag seeds. They are going nicely. I had only so much room to grow so many pots so I doubled the seeds in the pot. Three doubles right now and the dominant of each is showing so I am left with a conundrum.
Pull the weaker ones right now and do the right/kiss thing..or
Leave the weak ones untill they show sex alongside the stronger ones. ?
I have no idea if they are feminized or what. I've got backup here 420mag if I decide to collect some pollen and do some breeding..

Buds look great SnG! I don't see where the double plants are in the pic, but I would let them both grow at least until they showed sex. If you don't have room for all of them, that would be the time to cull.
I wish I knew exactly what kind they were, photos or autos. I'm increasing by 1/3 my grow area so I was thinking even if they're photo females when they finally show I could cut it and do a clone job as these seeds came out of some ok smoke. Tasted chemically fertilizer ya know, but that's what turns green to green.

Maybe those were just poorly cured or uncured buds. The plant doesn't know one nitrogen ion from another.

An increased grow area always sounds like a good idea, and you will probably know if they're photos or autos by 4 weeks or so. Though there don't seem to be a lot of auto bag seeds about!

Anytime you have a chance to clone something you know you like, take it. :thumb:

I think that harshness comes from rushing the grow. Shhh ok I dont have any proof but my stuff is never like harsh. You can pull a big hit and it's just mellow af. The oil made me cough a bit but not like dispensary crap. I took a couple hits off that last night and got knocked out for bed. I still cant sleep for long but its easier to fall back asleep for the short periods I can and it's more restful. My spasm condition continues but I cant afford my gabapentin script that helped with that. I dont think WW was a better neurological relief strain as it is mainly sativa. Of course my injury is permanent drain bamage apple cinnamon toaster frog..
