Some Classic Favorites & Other Things In Soil

Wow MJ! You do push the girls in veg. Bravo. That's so much farther than I have the courage to try lol. But now will push my limits. My clones are on day 2 of veg.

It's not that I push them. I have not been able to keep up with the watering. For me it's not meant to be this way. I'd rather feed/water them before any cell damage is done.

Sue wanted me to show you how I mistreat vegging plants so I shot a close up of one of the Panama clones before it was watered. She'll perk right up and I'll think about a new pot for a couple of these.

When they get to this stage how long do they stay there before you risk losing it? I'm always nervous to go too dry because I don't usually get to my plants on work days until the evening so they could have gone almost 24 hours without me seeing it.

Killer grow going. I hope you don't mind my posting of my knocked up Panama budsicle. I thought your lady might like company.

I wish I wouldn't have culled my male and left him outside like yours. As vigorous as these Panama are, I bet he would have lasted through these cold nights.

There's no relevant cell damage that the plant can't repair and be stronger for. You hit it spot on with that watering Jim, if your intent is to grow a massive root ball of fine rootlets. I used to be very cautious too in veg until I asked members to show me pictures of their plants before they watered. The more experienced cultivators invariably pushed their own plants right to the edge at least once or twice during veg and always went for a droop before watering. I was shocked at how far they let them dry out, but their consistent success backs them up.

Flower Day 22

The Classic girls are beautiful this morning. Gaps on the branches are certainly being filled and they certainly look to me to be ahead of schedule at day 22. Blue Dream is really starting to bring me joy as her color is interesting and certainly has that bluish blush about her. I shot some close ups for your viewing pleasure this morning. Things are starting to get frosty. I like that.

Jack Herer in my bowl this morning. :bongrip: I'm taking collards and White Widow to my friend's house for Thanksgiving dinner this afternoon. I am thankful to be able to care for my growing plants and thankful for my friends; real or virtual.

:thanks:

Flower Day 23

Continuation of the past. Blossoms are filling out and fragrance this morning was like sweet pastry. Humidity went up again in the house as I was too lazy to turn the dehumidifier on (or too stoned). I vaguely remember seeing on TV a robot that will mop your floors. So it proves that there are people lazier than me.

I guess things are doing well in the tents. I'll look at them closely a little later. Need my hydro therapy soon. Have a great day. Be careful out there.

My begonia was stranded on the deck at first frost. All the damaged plant was cut and I found her a better spot. Will watch for silly pests.

Flower Day 24

It's still hard for me to believe that the girls are progressing so well. Every one of the Classic ladies get just water today. Veg tent girls are all droopy so I'll have to get with it right after I post.

A good part of my day yesterday was spent reading dubi's Panama thread over at that other place. I vaped a bunch of White Widow and just got lost in the commentary.

So I've adopted a little kid through my Sunday School class and I have to go buy him some shoes today. I hope the crazies got their fill of shopping yesterday.

Have a great day folks.

The plants right next to crazy miss Hyde look almost black they are so deep green. Very lush.

I've been considering falling down that rabbit hole again. As my Panama grows I keep marveling at how vigorous they are. I'm going to have quite a few crosses from my male to play with. 😁 I added Panama for variety to the Zamedelica and Malawi I was really wanting. I picked it out of ace's catalogue only because it seemed like the most different from the African sativa lines I was getting and now it's become my favorite one while growing.

Flower Day 25

Pretty pictures of my boring grow. Everything in the grow room got a healthy dose of pH adjusted water and greeted me this morning with a wonderful sweet aroma. It makes me wonder if they would smell this nice if grown outside.

I never intended to have the Veg tent growing like this. I had figured the limiting factor would be the pot size but it just requires more frequent watering. My mineralized mix is generating that green as Morglie pointed out. Maybe I should begin measuring brix levels. I will at some point get the trimmer out and get these under control.

:welcome: Ditchweed242. Yes I had to rescue the begonia and thanks for the comments. I'm thinking this Blue Dream will live up to the popularity. I love those peaks of bud.

There is no freakin' way to pick a favorite anymore Jim. How do you handle all this perfection every morning? Gee willikers. Turn around and they're all grown up. The mix of aromas must be.......

Gee whiz Jim. You lucky magical man. :adore:

:thanks: for the kind words. Perhaps the lucky part is knowing that I am the recipient of the magic and not the creator.

Flower Day 26

Today I will get the Classic girls out for inspection (actually, just gazing in amazement) and a feeding. I will also take many of the bottom buds for testing. Part of my previous management practice was to inspect what you expect. I don't have high expectations for immature buds but I do expect an adventure. I'm thinking that I may wish to mix some dirt here soon to bloom out some of these clones. Flowers. I'm truly having fun growing the flowers. I saw pictures of buds recently the size of boxing gloves.

The fragrance of that bloom tent with the door open and fans off is something I have no way of properly explaining. Let's just say it would be heavenly to any grower. I did sniff each one individually and of course I found those buds to be sticky. I love sticky.

Enjoy your day. Jack Herer back in my pipe this morning :bongrip: I need to find a balanced cbd/thc version for pain relief. :hmmm:
