Some Classic Favorites & Other Things In Soil

Doc said my eyes were "beautiful". I took that to mean they were healing just fine. Went to lunch, then to grocery store, then filled a bowl with my bag seed "Mary" and proceeded to eat whatever was in the house. Life is good because I have jars of Mary. Her re-veg really brought her to life. I have a paw full of her seeds and may grow her again because they are regular seeds.

I'm just about ready to say the short version of the Serenity Prayer over these auto seeds that I'm having trouble germinating. Argh!

Glad you are fine Jim :)
and I take that... :passitleft: neeeext ?!

Absolutely. Up all night getting a major post done and I need to unwind. Thank you Jim. :passitleft:

The Chemdog caught my eye this morning. What a tight little thing. Then I turned and my eyes ran right into the Panama. :laughtwo: Good grief Jim, she's amazing! Do you have any plans to train her, or will you let her run wild?

Good to hear the news about your beautiful eyes. Life is sweet and good eyesight makes sweeter. :hugs:

Everything looking green! Keep up the great work.

:thanks: and :welcome: to my little spot. and yes!.....Green during the grow is such a good thing.

Had some problems uploading pics earlier but they are now there. Those 4 tops that you now see on Pam will at some point today become clones. I won't make the cuts until I'm certain they'll be long enough to fit the rubber pucks.

I spent quite a bit of time this morning cleaning the DIY cloning bucket. It wasn't nasty, I just wanted to make sure no ugly pathogens go to the new cuts. I tested the pump and sprayers and it appears everything is working properly. I'm getting excited. :bongrip:

Hope your day goes well. I've already had a nice morning.

Look look. :welcome: BonzaSeedBank. We really appreciate your sponsorship. Feel free to mention all your contests when you pop in again.

So Pam got her longest 4 lateral branches trimmed this morning. They got cut with a sterilized pair of Fiskars and of course, I washed my hands before I began. The cloner takes the place of my old grow cabinet and will be under 1 CFL which will run 24/7. It sounds like a water fall in my laundry room. Two of the clones had the lower fans removed which were yummy.

Pam after her topping.

Cuts in the bucket

DSC_019120.JPG

I'm fairly confident of this cloning method. Previous cuts had plenty of root growth at about 10 days. My bag seed "Mary" took about 20 days to fully develop roots but the cut stayed fresh throughout. The three other Classic girls will get their chance in the bucket later.

I'll grow the clones out in 1 gallon pots like last grow but they'll get a few weeks of veg this time. I think I've learned some of the lessons that grow brought to me. Best of buds folks.

:thanks:

Nice. I need to build me a cloaner like that. I've been using rapid rooters in a covered tray but I've had trouble keeping plants at the right humidity under the dome.

If I were you I'd keep one of those clones back until you get to test your first one. If it's a keeper, clone the one you have left before you toss it into flower. Rinse and repeat and you constantly have that plant in your stash. A nice thing about that also is that the flowering time should drop by a week or two on the clones since they will start flowering much quicker. Panama can take up to 3 weeks from flip before it starts showing pistols when grown from seed.

MJ! What light(s) are you using on the babies? They look so short and stocky.:thumb:

I use Mars-Hydro Mars II 900. ~390 W at the wall. In veg I only run it in "Grow" spectrum. It's 24 inches above the top of the pots so it would be approx 20 inches above the plant canopy. It's supposed to provide 3.5' x 3.5' coverage. If I keep my house relatively comfortable during the summer, temperature in the tent usually not over 84F. Both switches on would probably push it out of nice range. I'd say that penetration was good but I really have nothing to use for comparison.

Hey there MJ - nice looking bunch of girls you have there. :thumb:

I just ran out some Chemdawg ... best ever IMHO. For me ... best to let it cure 6 weeks or so then be careful what you wish for.

I'll be sittin over here in my corner watching with interest. I've got a mother Chemdawg (was a purple pheno) getting ready to take clones today... I dip the cuttings in some aloe gel from a fresh aloe leaf and into cloner or light soil.

So yeah good luck with your little girls. Hope they turn into green monsters before too long.

That MarsII 900 will grow 4 large ladies without a hitch. 1200w use at the plug is about max unless you have HD switches/timer.

High MJ!
Diggin your strain selection. Nice yard ya got there. :bravo:
These gals look like they have been given a lot of TLC.
Well done. I'm subbd.
