Solo Grow Challenge 2014

I went ahead and cut my fabric pot pc down. I've knocked it over a hundred times, so it's done. I'll let it dry out and come back with a weight for you guys. Still got a long while on the airpot, but she'll be worth it.
 
Magic Buds are cut and dried, but I couldn't find my scales before sampling a little.

And a little more, 3 days in and there is not much left to weigh, these are the only dried pics I have :bigblush:

It is a fantastic smoke, no munchies :yummy:

Jeez, everybody's plants have surprised me. Never thought 16oz of growing material could grow such lovely ladies. I think I will stick a seed in a solo cup for the next group solo cup grow. I am a newbee doing this, but I have noticed something I don't understand. Europeans seem to grow more sativa strains and US growers mostly grow indica strains. Is there a reason for this? Naturally I might be out in left field, and I am not seeing what I think I see. Is it by choice or availability? Could it be that we, US growers are in a hurry? I know I am in a hurry and don't ever want to grow past 11 weeks again.

PM... I sure am looking forward to your different weights. All the different pot styles are definitely an experiment that gave good results. Same food and light schedule makes those variables less a factor than pot styles. I can't remember if all your plants are clones from the same mother, were they? I was looking at your diy cloth pot to be your best entry but now that diy airpot is showing what she can do. Great grow. Great idea trying different types of pots.

Everybody's growing abilities really shines in a competition like this. Anyone interested in a Doob Toob grow contest?

I've got my pvc "Doob Toob " ready for planting. A brown painted 18" long piece of 1-1/4" ID pvc with an endcap. A 5/16" hole drilled 4" from bottom. Filled with perlite. I'll start it in the tent in 1st week of April and move it outside when she starts flowering. Yes she'll be an auto, might be a Red Poison For some color. I plan on hanging her by pulley about 20-30' up to be able to feed every other day. I might add a piece of 3" pvc at the bottom for a larger size reservoir. Must remember this is experimental. But I can tell you this, nobody looks up in trees for growing plants. :slide:

Hey folks! Hope you are great. I usually do a lot of thinking , I would be classified as "The Thinker" in some sociological models of the world, and I just realized, having thunk about this for a long time, that the thing I love most about thc, cbd, cbg and the rest, the thing I absolutely cannot live without, is the way it enables me to find out thruths about myself, to investigate and to analyze and to travel back and forth through the timeline of my memories without fear, and it feels like taking someones hand while walking though fire and hell but you are safe because of that comforting hand you are holding, well it's acctually a joint you are holding, and you are using it as a crutch and you should really be ashamed of yourself for using them because you really should be able to go through life without crutches, but you feel so connected to God while you are high that the voices of fear and paranoia never win. My Gods are Sam Skunkman, Arjan and Franco, and all the rest of them. Peace and Love.

Jeez I'm stoned.

The sativa in my closet has maybe a month left or so. There is almost no resin buildup at all on the buds. I am ready to bail. Bail, anyone? And also, I feel like I am standing in the way for a dozen or so eager cup growers. To them I would like to say: find a hybrid seed or clone, it'll be much more fun, for everyone!
 
I vote don't bail. We all knew this was a possibility. :)

Starting to bud up. I am feeding this one SNS 604-B as I got the clone from a friend who put it into the solo cup in regular potting soil. I usually do super soil and don't feed nutes, but I have these laying around and she's gonna need em.
