Solo Grow Challenge 2014

Everyone's girls look wonderful. I have never seen a group of growers trying to maintain a minimal growing volume and having such a nicely evolved selection of plants. All are growing differently. Please note what type lights are being used and at what distance.
I sure would like to try each plant just to see what the different light and medium and nutes do to each one. The different stresses just involved with the lack of root room should really make her want to make seeds really bad. I think the plants might not be monsters in size but I think rather that they will be more potent. Maybe a good review after a week or two of curing might be a good thing.

Maybe an air pump with air tube up into the bottom of the doob tube as far as it will go. I would bet the air in the tube is pretty stagnant.

All three are the same strain, Skunk Haze.
Medium used in all, coco/perlite mix,80/20
Bloom nutrients are Plant Magic (UK product for UK soft water)
Additional beneficials/nutrients used are AN Ancient Earth (fulvic & humic acids), Superthrive & the one in bloom just had its 1st small dose of PM Platinum (PK booster with sulphur & other stuff)
Lighting has been mixed between Mars 400w & Osram LED fitted light. (currently Osram) All three are always on the perimeter as they have a low priority status in my tent.

The two big ones are GSCxATF and the doobe Tube is White Widow.
All are grown in Super Soil from the bag. Fed compost tea once and water.
Never any additional nutes added. Gonna be some tasty hooch.
Popped under MarsII 1200 and flowered under MarsII 1600.

Air tube is a good idea too. My air machines are all maxed out at the moment, running in my cloner. Getting more air in there is a really good idea as the soil in there has to be super tight in order to fill 5' of pvc. I'm a little surprised she's doing as well as she is. Maybe I'll give her a little h2o2 tonight, killing her tea bennies, but perhaps it would be worth it with the low oxygen she's getting.

Thanks for the ideas!!

These are the only plants I have flowering now under my 96 x 3w reflector with the toppers from 4 to 9 inches from light and for about a week now 2 cfls down low helping out and adding some welcome heat to the space.

All of them started out in same stuff I mixed equal compost perlite and worm poop and raised them on an inconsistant feeding of GO Line mixtures I couldnt even remember. Tonight was just plain water and I have some molasses I will try again on them.
This THC Bomb is reminding me of the Berry Bomb I just grew a little and after a feel is setting up some solid buds right here just under the bend.

Thankyou PeytonManning these are new to me growing them. The buds are starting to make up for the stressed and deficient looking plants and there lost leaves. I am just winging through this and envy how healthy and green all your guys plants look to me. I wont make this style a habit in solos but 12/12 from seed in a bigger pot I will fill in with new seeds once in a while when I get a perpetual going with my 4 strains in veg now under a T5 including old revegged flowered clones Jack Herer< soft topped :high-five: Skunny and ,Berry Bomb FLux Wanna Be :thumb: Light Addict and 2 fem seedlings one Purple Bud and a Blue cheese

Incredible plants. Really making me think of a project to use up some of the hundreds of bagseeds I have. Run about 20-25 of these, in SOLO cups, as a SOG, with a bean in each cup. Run them all 12/12 from seed, to avoid too many branches and crowding, just long main colas.

It seems I'm not the only one who wants to run 12/12 from seed in bigger pots. I'm thinking 2 gal cloth pots will be the perfect size for the roots & the size will add stability so they don't fall over. :)

Alright, we're taking bets on smallest nug here, and we got two good candidates people

Smallest nug? Make that three candidates people :high-five: (Light Bulb is for demonstration purposes only)
