Soil too hot?

So one of the two plants I have is showing what might be Nute burn. I tried to handle the two identical. I am using FF Ocean soil, can variances in the bags I use cause this? Can soil be 'too hot' ? I have hardly given any nutes. Is what I am seeing nute burn? Notice the yellow tips on the leaves on the first photo compared to the second photo.
btw, I've only given nutes twice and they were every 3rd watering

I'm not familiar with that soil, but it does look to me like a touch of Nitrogen burn
Doesn't look bad though - are you going to do some defoliation to let some light in or is it like a bush strain?

Sorry, I meant like a huge Indica bush
FM that's impressive for 6 weeks :thumb:

Usually HOT SOIL is not finished in the breaking down process or they used unfinished compost or to much dry amendment and didn't let it cure when its mixed I usually check soil pH first thing before even planting in it and if I have issues weather I make soil or buy it the first thing I do is check soil pH same with water always pH your water for soil stability weather you use nuits or not Here's the reason and Good luck your close! ✌️

those plants are fantastic. the elongated tips and claw means they grew with a bit too much n but not an issue at all.

there is a little something going on There you can see it in the tips and usually that's where it starts is the tips ic a little tip burn in those but yeah myself I'd do a flush or 2 of fresh ph'd water after checking soil pH just looks a tad bit much of a GOOD thing is all not really an issue , but that's me and what I'm seeing ✌️

Sorry folks, I disagree with this entire conversation. I see no burn. I see no pH problem. What I see is plants showing a very clear K deficiency and a bit of a magnesium and maybe even iron deficiencies. Please feed your plants. They have done fine so far on the soil and what was in it, but that is now running out. Every yellow tip is not an indication of burning, as a matter of fact that is rarely the case, although that is the most common misdiagnosis. Whatever nutes you are using, use them, as the manufacturer suggests. If at this point you lightly feed, well... you have now been advised not to.

i have been using calmag besides the FF nutes. I added the calmag to ph adjusted water. Every third time watering I used the FF nutes. I should continue with the calmag in the H2O and apply nutes every other watering i believe is what you are saying? Not sure how to address an Iron deficiency unless the calmag has ample iron...

All part of a healthy discussion Em and I'm always happy to hear your thoughts ♥️

FF recommends feeding once a week, which usually equates to every other watering. When you used the nutes, did you mix the trio as recommended for that week of the grow? FF is a very scientifically designed system to give you exactly what your plants need, and for each week of the grow the mix changes. Are you following this to the letter? If not, you are not likely to get good results.

The calmag has no iron in it... it has cal and mag. The rest of the FF nutes have what you need. To address this deficiency, simply feed as recommended. I would recommend giving the calmag every other watering along with the rest of the nutes. The only rule is to add it to your bucket of water first, and then add the rest of the nutes. Then on your water only pass it is an easy thing to pH adjust the water to 6.3 before applying it and not have to mess with anything else.

the only change needed is to put the calmag in with the nutes. Other then that I am doing exactly what you are saying to do. I only started the nutes 2 weeks ago however. Thank you very much for your help, much appreciated.

You already told us you were feeding every third time, so that is not "exactly" what I am advising. if you started full strength nutes 2 weeks ago feeding every other time, you shouldn't be having these problems now, so I suspect that something else might be amiss. If you diluted the suggested feedings though, that would explain things, and of course the w/w/f schedule does too. Are you going by the feeding charts or the dosages suggested on the bottles?
