Soil - 300W Mars LED - Sweet Fast Bud #2 Auto Fem

Thanks for tips! I guess bigger fan it is than, cant really make any more cardboar tricks as my lamp is already up to the very top of the tent, I cant reach anything there. Dont really feel like modifying the lamp aswell, and that fan looks too fancy and complex and non stealth :cheesygrinsmiley: I'll get another termometer aswell as I feel kinda cold in the room but tent is 30 celcius. Cant calibrate that thing also, atleast no idea how.

The light can be about 45cm from the plant no problem. More light means more growth. She will grow more compact and stronger.

Well I hope she wont grow tall as there is not much space :cheesygrinsmiley: Anyway I got SCROG net :smokin2:

I received ph testing papers today, oh damn it was fun. I felt like a scientist for a moment. Watered my little girl and tested run off, it appears to be about 6-7Ph. It's just slightly too high, but I guess it's not that bad. I trust this paper more than I do trust that device.

Fans are still the same, will proboably get the bigger one and use small one to get some air in the tent. But need to wait for payday for that :slide: By the way, should 6" be enough? I dont really have a lot of space for a bigger one.

Anyway, it looks like she loves the new pot, but my phone broke down I cant send any pictures. :wood:

Nice PH in check, pot is working. Man 6'' is good that's a big duct for sure. No need for active intake, but if you do not overdo it no smell will come out I wouldn't recommend that, but you can experiment some with that. Sorry to hear about your phone. I hope it will make your tent cooler and more silent. You can put the fan right after filter and use longer ducting, making s bend with it for less noise coming out. Happy growing! :thumb: :Namaste:

Subbed for some sweet seedlings and a similar start! When my bagseed took off, I decided I wanted to grow, and have been building the hobby since. Started with a weak LED until my 300W Mars arrived and I haven't looked back.

I'm excited to watch you use the air pot. After my tent, an air pot is next on my list

Are you going to do any sort of special training on your plant because of your space constraints?

Happy Growing!

Hey twonappyroots! Welcome to house of Elizabete, I'm glad you came to visit her :welcome: :circle-of-love:
It's always nice to see a people with same equipment, so you'll proboably get to see me in your journal as well :cheesygrinsmiley:
To answer the question, I already have my SCROG net waiting, so ye, there will be slight whipping :loopy:
By the way, I will upload some pictures this weekend, it's been a whole week without them now.
Happy growing!:Namaste:

Day 12 of Vegging

Hi there guys, I guess it's been a while without pictures. :high-five:

She's doing pretty good, I think she loves the new pot. I have measured ph couple days ago (6-7ph) by measuring the runoff, I have watered her pretty badly back than, haven't watered ever since.

Everything is pretty much the same, still waiting to get new fan to fight that heat off (30c~), not using any nutes as doesn't look necessary, leaves are pretty dark, not too dark.

I might give her some nutes next week or perhaps this week, I'll see how she will react to them. will proboably feed 1/4 of required amount. :loopy:

Here are some pics.

It's on lowest speed, 6" fan with 2 speed controll, always on 1st one. (I did aciddently put it on 2 once, I came back my lady was dancing around spinning in circles and stuff it was hilarious and scary at the same time, glad she did survived). But I also use Hydroponics Grow Light Fan Speed Controller - Plug in and Go - Free Delivery | eBay

It's a fan speed controller, I decrease speed on this one, put it on like 65-75%. I dont want it blowing too hard as she's quite young. Little breeze is enough to move her a little bit and strenghten the stem also move air around her. I just want to see my leaves moving a little bit, that's it.

I might increase the fan speed when she gets bigger.

Ups :loopy:

Not quite sure what happened, maybe soil is too hot, maybe she didn't liked the slowly releasing nutrients "tea" I fed her yesterday. What I did was basicly put that slowly releasing tablet in a water for about 10 minutes, (it's a tablet made of loads of tiny bubbles). Few of the bubbles have disconnected from the tablet. I removed the tablet and result was few nutrients rich bubbles in a water. After 2 days of waiting, I took 1 tea spoon of that mixture and mixed with about 3l of water. Watered her. It think it was very mild so I would find it hard to believe it's nute burn.

Any suggestions? It's not really yellow, It's more like dark brown tip.

Watering her with water PH'ed at 7. Runoff is at 8.

I got nute happy yesterday. Went to check out the local hydro store. Dude sweet talked me into buying Tiger bloom even though I don't really need it yet.

I threw a cap full into my watering can and decided to experiment with my 2 tomato plants that are flowering and beginning to bear fruit. I thought everything was gravy and went whistling on my way.

This morning my 4.5 foot monster was turning yellow and leaning! Some sort of nutritional lockout was happening. Since then I've decided to really take my hands off the wheel. I flushed the soil with pure water best I could and I'm swearing off of unregimented fertilization until further notice. The beast is already looking better.

I say all that to say I would hit her with that water rinse, tell her your sorry, and give her less care, not more. Time heals all wounds.

Hi there buddy, sorry to hear about your girls. I hope your girl is okay now! :Namaste:

I dont really want to over water her, and it kinda looks more like cal or mag deficit, I think i'll feed her some calmag after couple days if it these spots keep on appearing, and see what happens. I've given her some water so if it was nute burn should have fixed that hopefully.

Hi Oful! Nice photos, she looks great not stretching and quite bulky, good job so far! Is the damage on every tip or just on some? I wouldn't worry that much now, let her tell you more. Keep it up! :thumb:

good job so far!

Thanks a lot! But that's exactly what is scaring me, that I will mess up at some point and will end up with poor yield :cheesygrinsmiley: . I love how short and bushy she is, the bottom branches are already slowly streatching to the top, it looks like this LED penetrates quite nicely.

Haven't seen any improvement on the sickness since yesterday, maybe flush helped maybe it will develop slowly. It's just on the new bottom branches leaves, couple of them. 4-5 and just tips. The one in the picture looks the worst, so I guess it's not a really big deal. I'll just keep watching as you sayd. Thanks for passing by Tomula :Namaste:

by the way, any ideas how to decrease soil ph? I keep on watering with lower ph water, but runoff is still quite big. I dont have a fancy stuff and never have I played with ph before so I just add some lime juices in water to decrease ph to a 6-7 and then water. Runoff is still at 8.

Vinegar instead of lime juice. You can try coffee grounds, some people used them with success. I hope someone else can help. Check FAQ. Good luck!

Just do not get hooked on it! It can be good servant in time of need but not so when you wanna quit. Buy some cheap ass coffee nobody buys. I mean stores throw away so much food it is unbearable! I wish you luck with it! :Namaste:
