Hey there cmon, i'm glad to see you're still at these 2L buckets... I was routing for you in your first hydro grow, and have a few questions. I would have liked to do this in a private message, but am unable to do so thus far... I don't mean to hijack your present grow by any means. your grow medium looked like a possible perlite/vermiculite blend, can you recall the makes? and I caught part of your nute line-up, but wasn't sure if it was all of it. can you remember what you were using and/or how much you were using? Koolkat/420fied had it figured out pretty good then disappeared. HighDive/12Twelve set the 420mag world on fire with these.... Mr. Krip... I'm convinced they work, any chance you had some trace elements in your medium that was buffering? would you be willing to try again? using the same combination you were using, but boiling the medium with RO to make it more inert?
Re: 2014 - Hempy - SOG - Sweet Tooth
My run off. I flushed with plain ph'ed water and caught the run off. Taken off the First and Second batch, that are four days apart. Been feeding with 8/16 Lucas with cal/mag. My ppm seems a little low, but I have never tested it before.

8/16 lucas? is that 0-8-16? along with calmag? i'm not sure I can refer you to another blog site, but i'm sure this is legal...
What is Lucas Formula, and how do I use it? (scroll down near Coco Coir, inert much like perlite/vermiculite)
by the photo's it looked like a magnesium and/or potassium deficiency

remember all that fun you had with your ph pen. the extra $100 can make the difference between a noob and a master.

note by the chart that 5.7-5.9 is the only range that unlocks both calcium and magnesium. and then by Lucas' website, very possible that too much phosphorus created a salt buildup, locking out Ca, Mg, and even K.
its good to see you back at it!
