Social smokers grow super skunk & white widow

Hey that is a nice unit norcal!! Mine may not be the best, but it was affordable for me and I can't argue with the results. But hey if you got the cash that other one certainly looks higher quality. =)

yeah bro if it works and affordable thats even better

i just checked the pump n the 5 gallon bucket thats bn running all day with no light on it
the temp is 70 and its chilly n my place that tells me the pump is running 2 hot

ima unplug it and check the temp of water 2 morrow

You want slow output on the feeder tubes. I have 4 cracked i the tub now and 2 still in paper towels and the flow is just barely on. Anybody have any experiance with power head pumps? I think I've seen some that are more ceramic and less metal on the drive parts and that would mean less heat produced. I think some of the top end pumps have ceramic drives also but I just started to check into it.

so would 250gph be good? I need to upgrade. the SH pump is 180gph I think and it just doesn't cut it for me. I guess 396gph would be over kill unless you used a 1-12 splitter

You are not wanting to pump a lot of water and I actually think the 185 is overkill. If you get one with a variable flow on the pump itself it may be worth the investment. You'll be running it at slow speed and it should last a long time.

Thanks MC. Im glad I didn't go ahead and buy it. I can always slow down the strength on the splitter valve itself. I think Ill get the 250gph. I might be running longer tubes too on my next tank. I'v decided to do 5 hole in each. I can put the holes/netpots at the very 4 corners and one in the very center so the plant will be as far apart as possilbe

yeah guys this 264 gph pumps enough water it would b great for a flood and drain system but im using it n a bubbler with feeder tubes and it needs 2 run all the time and running it all the time it gets hot

i had a 132gph and it wasnt enough for 6the tubes im thinking 180gph would b perfect

I generally plant fems so pre-planning is needed. This time I start 6 fems and keep 2 each in the 3 res I currently have. It keeps me busy changing the nutes and checking things daily but it gives the plants more than enough room to spread out and be all they can be. This time I'm going to try to veg using the 250 with a blue bulb. If that doesn;t work the way I hope I have some 5000k CFL's to augment. When I get to flower I'll have the 250 over one pot and a 400 over the other two in flower.

sounds like a plan mc:ganjamon:

i use a 200 w clf and 400w mh for veg and
the 400w hps for flower although the 200 cfl is n the tent now 2 give the ww some blue light for there veg since there 12/12 from seed and the skunks r flowering i only have a 2x4x5 tent for growing :ganjamon:
