Forgive my ignorance... You've got gorgeous beauties! But got a qq for you... When people say "flowering" is that the part that looks thick in the centre with lovely tendrils about it? Is that all how you know it's female? I've tried to find info on differences between female and male. Couldn't find anything. I did see that makes produce seeds and for some reasons males aren't smoked. Sorry, that was more than 1 qq. Btw, I downloaded a new app that is a journal for all growers.
Was SOOOO excited to start growing right away when WW arrives. But plans changed. Must fly out of state several times between May and January. No. I don't know how I'm going to manage. Lots happening way too fast. But it's for very good personal family reasons. Smile. It just would be so nice if all states legalise cannabis. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hi bubbi the female produce calyxs (seed pods) if pollinated by a male seeds will grow in these. When unpollinated they swell with resin and create sticky trichomes which are to catch pollen.
The males make these round balls which dangle and are full of pollen when they open up they drop pollen which if comes into contact with a flowering female will create seeds.
The difference in flower is distinct though not in vegetative state

Hey feral! Mate this has been a bloody hot week 37+ all week. She's doing ok I'm noticing abit of heat stress now on some leaves but she should be fine.
Damn that sux hope they pull through with no probs going to have to dry them real slow

And the smell is amazing getting better and better checked trichs mostly clear some cloudy

Damn, we have not seen over 30c in a few weeks now, don't think we will get much more warmth for a while now, just hoping this rain lets up so I don't have to pull the outdoor girls early, same thing happened 2 seasons ago and rained solid for the last 3 weeks of their lives, lost half of it to mold. With my c99 I'm just hoping most of the foliage disperses the water away from the colas, should be right drying it with my dehumidifier but just between now and then is going to be stressful :rofl: actually thinking of building a shade net over her just to stop a bit of water :rofl:
