Basil and capsicum/peppers are great companion plants. I guess it was a bit late for this one, but whenever I grow outdoors I always like to add some nitrogen fixers such as legumes/beans etc for the veg stage and pull them when she starts to flower.

So an update on the old girl! 4 months old already!
Fat stem pic with bic
She's really stretching which I wasn't expecting from a long veg period!
Shes got some yellowing old leaves thinking I should hit up with some Epsom salts. Going to cut back on the calmag abit too.
And the start of the giant buds forming smelling fruity with almost a basil hint to it too.

I don't think it was ever flowering like I said at first the reason you got pistils is strong genetics so strong it can show its sex before flowering.
I don't think net would hold it back at all. Helps get those branches further apart to get more of this lovey sun. Which I've decided to utilise to it's full power. .

I bet! My fiancé and I also grow a large number of veggies and herbs. I also enjoy the smells from brushing them with my hands while gardening. Might have to try some chives too!

Haha cheers man yeah she still is stretching if she does it should be another 2/3 weeks so I'm looking at that 1m in height I'd say after training her for so long to be short . still is relatively short but taller then I expected

Weather was 41 yesterday and a nice warm 30 today bit of relief!
Yeah not gonna touch the tops think I'll let them go wouldn't mind a few big crowns to enter into notm or something too.!
