She's in had to backfill with some soil I took out put 100 litres of coco and perlite so hole is im guessing just over 200-250 litres

Finally caught up, think i wore out that like button :rofl: hope you got rid of that spider, im not one to be scared or anything as i used to kill them for a living, Funnel web spiders are some of the most dangerous spiders in the world and their venom at the least is enough to make you really sick or in some cases kill you, there are worse ones than others like the Sydney Funnel Web but not something id take the chance with, males are the most toxic in any species. Another one to kill is the White Tail, wont even go into them but they are a bad spider, very toxic to flesh but wont kill you, pretty much all other spiders are harmless and are great to keep around, best for our situation would be orb weaving spiders that build humongous webs and can catch all them flying insects.
 
White tales suck mate, not that I really know but I live with them. They are the most common spider (equal number to daddy longlegs) in my house.. I get bitten a lot. Itchy and flesh peels away for about four months. Area swells and he s a gloss shine to it. Other than that, I haven't got sick from them... I want to hear more on white tails.. redbacks everywhere outside down here.. they scare me..
 
Id have to go back through my textbooks on white tails as its been a good 4-5 years since ive done any pest work but its pretty much how you said, they release a toxin which attacks flesh, will take a long time to heal and in some cases can flare up again every few years, wont make you sick in most cases unless the wound becomes infected :thumb: Red Backs they consider to be dangerous but usually will only attack when provoked, at most they will make you sick, however they are the closest relation we have in australia to the Black Widow :thumb:
