Smokey's Mystery Bud - First CFL/Soil Grow 2010

That's some sexy bud porn bro! I can't wait to see what they look like before harvest. I was wondering what the molasses is used for? Is it suppose to add nuts to the soil or what?

Thanks bro! I think these nugs are gona look gorgeous when I harvest! At least that's what I'm hoping for! :grinjoint:

As for the molasses, from what I've read it basically feeds the good bacteria in the soil. In return, these good bacteria break down nutrients in the soil so that they are easier for the roots to take up. I have also heard that it helps make buds fatter and more resinous. Which makes sense because it is getting easier to use nutrients from the soil, which makes a healthier plant.

Yeah that helps I'm going to try this out. Is there a formula you use or do you mix it with anything? I can just know see the flowers on my lemon skunk starting to really show, thee are little white hairs everywhere now! How much do you think you will get at harvest?

I usually go with 1 Tbsp to a gallon of water. And for harvest I'm shooting for anything over an ounce. Hopefully my next grows will produce more now that I am dialed in. :rasta:

Hey everybody! I want to apologize for the lack of updates lately. I have just been super busy with the holiday going on. Plus I have a buddy visiting from Cali, so we've been doin some drinkin and smokin ya know! :grinjoint:

I plan on getting some pics up tomorrow morning. We are at day 51 of flowering and MaryBeth is gorgeous. Her smell is a pungent yet pleasing heavy skunk. She will be getting a feeding tonight, which could be her last meal before flush! I have been slacking on getting a scope, but I plan on taking care of that Sunday.

MaryBeth is at 55 days flowering today. She received a half gallon of water and molasses. She will be getting no more nutrients from here on out. Harvest time is coming soon! Right now I am thinking about Jan. 8th, but that isn't set in stone. I will continue with the molasses and water until she gets chopped!

Overall, she looks great! The really low leaves will wilt very bad on the day she needs to be watered, but that is it. I did notice one thing tonight though. The main stem is split right down the middle. When I topped her and tied one of the new tops one direction and the other new top in the opposite direction, I created a spot that was vulnerable to splitting. I won't be going about my LST this way anymore to avoid this.

Well, pics tomorrow after work to show 8 full weeks of flowering! Later everyone! :peace:

:rofl: Luckily, Tmac, the split has already pretty much healed itself. The spot was heavily covered by fan leaves and I just happened to come across it tonight. No worries though. :grinjoint:

As for snow, we got the same. About 15" and I have been loving every second of it! My brother told me that the mountain he's at got over 2 feet. I should be heading up there to do some riding on the 9th, so I'm pretty excited about that!

We are really getting close. Started the first flush last night and will continue only flushing with water and molasses from here on out.
