Very good Joe.yeah I thought u had harvested a plant an curing it now.I 4got u wanted that plant 4 that 4\20 weekend.I agree with u on the quick drying thing.my stuff has been nice an strong every single time I've quick dried.I've even quick dried some 2day,just under a heat.takes about 5/6 hours.I don't think proper drying it will make it any stronger.u should get itself 1 of those joint rolling machines.makes excellent joints in mins.I might do wot ur doing,cut half my super skunk an hang 2 dry,an let the other half go another week.I'll see next Friday.the whole plant is due 2 come down then anyway,12 weeks old:thumb:
 
Yeah I dont think putting it back in with half a plant really adds anything to the yield but it may increase the thc levels. I could of trimmed off more but if the buds look less then 5 grams per I try to put it back under the lights for another week or 2

Wots ur thoughts on instead of putting half the plant back under,wot about letting the plant sit in total darkness 4 3\4\5 days.I'm not talking cutting her then hanging in darkness,the whole plant,in darkness.I was reading that it covers itself in more crystals, then chop an hang.wots ur thoughts on this??

I also have read that in multiple places besides this site. I havent done this just yet but I think I will at some point to give a definitive answer. The way a plant works is like a warehouse. During the day when the lights are on that warehouse is filling up with cargo(sugars,carbohydrates things like that) When the lights go off the plants use that store emptying the warehouse. The larger the plant the bigger the warehouse. So it would make sense that having the lights off so long would have some kind of effect I just cant comment on the effect. I will try the lights out before I harvest the last plant or 2 and examine the tricomes before and after
 
Bar I don't have a link.months ago I was online every night reading about growing these plants,and a few times I typed in2 Google about drying buds,an came across diff people on diff sites saying about leaving ur plants in total darkness.sorry I can't link it.but its all there if u look 4 it

It may burst with more crystals (Plant may think it is damaged in full darkness) but without photosynthesis to produce potency it is just like Hash Tips (Tons of crystal with little or no potency) or so my brain assumes.... Still waiting for people to show testing done on hash tip crystals for potency but I assume what logic tells me. Healthy life from start to finish , dry till crispy then start burp curing for best results. If you dark too long it may also bolt them 10 times faster and space and stretch bud nodes making bud airy , this would depend on how hard the plants metabolism is working at the time you darked her too. I hope I made even an ounce of sense lol

I hope so lol if I am corrected by offering information due to being incorrect or missing points I learn from that myself so I never hang on my own advice , I test what I know by offering it in hopes to be corrected anytime haha

I'm saying the second and third set of photos has been washed..
 
It was 3 and 4. I will take pictures of these ladies again after they are fully dry to see if the difference is even further
