SmokerJoe's Indoor Organic Soil Bagseed Grow

I have not witnessed a TMV infectionon pot. But i sure as heck have seen it in my tomato fields. I would not recommend using and tobacco tincture spray on tomatoes. There are other alternatives for most pests.

The tobacco spray did not sound to good to me either. That would be a lot of work to the trash/ my dads burn pile.

How is everyone on this fine Saturday
:green_heart:

So how much longer till you start chopping?

I just gave the ladies their last bit of Molasses to finish up the bottle and gave them a final dose of big bloom, tiger bloom, overdrive, bud candy. Everywhere I go I got sticky colas sticking to me in there. I plan on having them all down within 2 weeks had 2 plants hang back and be stubborn. 1 Is just now showing her groups of pistils. Crazy for so far along but I cant give her the time she needs. Its her fault but she is getting cut down whatever the size or potency of her nugs. Most will be cut by next weekend. Trying to space it out a bit since I hand trim and dont want to spend 10 hours trimming in 1 day ever again. 2 hours a day seems fine though. Im not going to wash them all so I can do side by sides and you all can choose which is washed and which is unwashed and so I can give a smoking report on each.

Once the baby is up from her nap I will go take pictures. See if we can go for 25 pictures this upload.

I try to stay busy. My gf keeps wanting the amount of plants to lower but I steadily increase the amount . I told her if we just did 1 grow of 100 plants we would be set for the year but that one wont pass plus I would never seriously consider 100 plants in such a small space.

I've used hot pepper spray made from the hot peppers I grew. my tomatoes caught blight I had no idea what issue was thought it was cal issue because of rust spots put one pic up here a vet tells me blight is main issue. i had some other planst around like a hot pepper plant and it didnt get sick even though it was near the tomato plants

just planted my veggies and stuff this season gonna not get foliage wet when I water and remove dead leafs so they don't harbor mold :thumb:

Uploading pictures now. Tried to hold the microscrope to the camera. It didnt work so well. Gonna have to get the gf to hold the loupe while I take the pictures.

Hey Breal remeber when you are rotating crops in your garden Potatos, tomatoes, peppers ( hot and sweet) and eggplant are all the same crops as far as family are concerned. They are all in the nighshade family Solanaceae. Since they are all in the same familythey should be rotated like they are the same crop. They are susceptible to the same diseases. Also on a side note did you know that eggplant delivers nicotine similar to tobacco? Cucurbits are the smae thing as well so you should consider all squashes , cucumbers and all melons as the same crops as well for rotational purposes.

Thank you friend. You have been a good source of information. I thank you

plants are looking good joe! should get some big buds if you cut the fertilizer stress out :thumb:

thanks uptheholler. I made a point to burn the plant remains instead of composting them because of what you speak of. I heard that blight can survive winter and attack again. I'm also growing on a different piece of land this season (luckily). I found a website that gives a bunch of organic cures and planting garlic and chives around your stuff keeps a lot of disease away.

I believe one of my plants had the tmv, but I grew and smoked it anyway and it's gone and I'm alive lol

I made a point to water the sick plant with garlic water every time for 2 weeks straight. I used raw garlic and minced it.

Why do you think they have fertilizer stress b.real? Are you basing that on the nutrients I took pictures of or is there something else to have you arrive at that conclusion?

When I do test nugs and need to taste the trichs fast to determine if they are ready I do a freze , thaw dry method. The end product deflates the bud a bit and the plant content holds a lot of chloro (Dark Green) in the leaves and pistils but can make a 14 gram specimen dry out within 24 hours to a smokable level. I use a paper bag or small card board box and put it in front of a fan after freezing. As soon as it fully thaws under the fan I put it back inthe freezer again till it is frozen. It is super fast and the smoke will be flavorful almost as good as after a week of cure... Without a cure. But the quality will be unwanted due to pigment of the nugs and the fact they deflate and lose some hardness in the process and it also takes more work in a shorter time. Worth it for testers to me anyways but when I dry and cure a good size crop I do it more old fashion haha

My guess is yers will be finished with more patience than I usually do also you would laugh at the nugs I prefer , usually a few weeks premature with very little flavor. I call it my Level lols

I see some nitrogen clawing. Excess nitrogen will lockout other nutes. Been waiting to see what leds can do when people don't defoliate.
