Everyones gardens are different. Some have more space and more money then other growers. Some have the luxury of friends who can
donate lights or nutrients. Everyone should be able to grow no matter the setup or space. Here are some examples of different types of gardens.
Window Garden
The simplest garden out of all that I will be mentioning. You can add a small light to lengthen the light cycle. The savings on the electricity bill is really cool too but I wouldnt recommend more then a plant or 2 on a window seal and if you live on ground floor I cant safely recommend this at all as cops and thieves look for this easy prey. Using a reflective screen on the non viewing side of the curtain will make the most use of the light. You can put plastic drop cloths under the containers to further maximize light.
Closet Garden
A indoor closet full of marijuana is the current day version of a speakeasy because a closet garden can be very productive and easily hidden. Since you control who comes and goes the security is entirely up to you. Problems that arise from a closet garden are the ventilation and wiring at least in my case as I rent and dont own and I figure if you own a house why wouldnt you want to utilize a attic or a basement or even a spare room but I suppose that is just me.
Natural light gardens
Balconies, porches, skylight, windows or backyards. These are common places to find plants fueled by the sun. The most important consideration here is security. Adjust plant location in relation to where the sun will provide the most direct light and security are your biggest concerns.
Corner garden
A corner in a upstairs room can be turned into a garden using cheap items. White paint, cardboard boxes, plastic sheeting, hanging hooks and cord. When you set it up you can use the two walls that adjoin to form the corner as the back of the garden. The open side can be a cheap removable screen for the final 2 sides. Use the white pain on the cardboard and the screens will be like temporary walls to place that cardboard against. The plastic sheeting will be used to protect carpets and I would use at least 2 in case 1 gets a hole in it.
Obviously there are a lt more types of setups and you can go as far as your imagination will take you. If you have interest I have 1 final setup I will be discussing and this one is my favorite and one I will be implementing once finances are in order. I will be putting this in my blog though so feel free to check that out at your leisure. Take care and talk to you all later today.
