Small issue of wilting

Yes. But different days. Over a three or four days period.

they should never sit in a swamp. always elevate them if you can so there is air space underneath

do you have any access to your own private backyard space?

if not, sometimes setting an indoor stealth grow up proper is the best course. i'm not certain on your personal legal jurisdiction, but it can be easier to control things in many cases, both environmentally and situationally.

Took me about 2 hours to make this 4x10 area in my basement. And it's all temporary. Nothing is nailed except a few studs.

It's now 72 degrees in there and outside the room my basement with the vents closed is 59 degrees. Dehumidifier is running too.

Looking good. Will it have a door or just be open at the end.
Just an opened end with a piece of Mylar hanging. I want it easy to take down. After this grow that will be converted into an efficiency apartment.
I had to buy a huge dehumidifier because the one I bought that was supposed to do a 1100 sf room wouldn't do 40sf.
But the new dehumidifier draws out a gallon and a half of water a day and keeps the entire basement at whatever I want it to be.

ever heard of a plant sitting in a bucket of water for 6 days without needing water when its smaller? I mean this plant is like 2 or 3 weeks old and I watered it on the 2nd and today the bucket still weighs the same as 6 days ago. So I watered it with a half gallon because it was time to feed and the majority ran out the bottom. So it was more like 50 percent to 60 percent run off from just one half gallon of water. But the plant looks fine.
I worry about water stagnating sitting in a pot soaked for days without drying off and without much movement on the plant.

I think I am the problem. I just have some kind of bad luck with pretty much everything.

Same seeds. Totally different looking. And these are going to be huge. Is it possible since they are part auto and part photo that the auto doesn't take this time?

I would assume since they look 100 percent different from each other maybe the lighter one will auto bud but darker one might not. I say that because the lighter one looks leaf wise close to all the others and the darker one looks like no seed I've grown from that batch of seeds. And I've grown 3 of them.

One is growing out and the other up.

they look good. keep at it. nice job. :)

just different phenos. happens all the time. that or blame the milkman ...

somethings wrong there.
did you make the seeds yourself lol ? they could be anything if you cross pollinated.

has nothing to do with it.

They were part Pistachio which was an auto and part blueberry pancakes which was a photo.
I know it has both in it because it came off the pistachio plant while growing next to the BBP and when the last three plants grew they turned red like BBP which pistachio turned slightly brown on some leaves. But also it smelled way more like BBP than Pistachio and they are way different scents. As its curing now it looks like neither of them. But smells like BBP the more the cat piss chlorophyll smell dissipates. The BBP took one month for it to cure and the Pistachio took literally 3 months to lose the chlorophyll smell. This is about month 2 and they are not finished curing yet. Still at about 65RH in the jars. Sometimes they hit 67. But its taking forever like Pistachio did.

The last plant grown from the same plants seeds did auto. They started budding under 18/6 lights. I still currently have 16 seeds from that same plant.

The strain this thread was created for was a mixed strain with Pistachio and Blueberry Pancakes.

I got about 18 to 20 seeds off my pistachio plant from my first grow ever. Cant remember the exact amount. My BB Pancakes fertilized the Pistachio plant.

Of the 3 I grew I pulled one out of the ground in my front yard because my roommate, without asking put a boatload of worm castings on the plant and killed it. I know he did it because I knew what the top of the soil looked like and then all of a sudden it had about an inch of worm castings. He did this right after I told him the plant seemed to be beating the death from the bottom that happened to all 3 plants. The bottom 1/3 died on all three plants as it grew and started flowering.

When he gave it worm castings it was a nice shade of dark green so he really screwed it up. It also had leaf hoppers chomping on it. But if it had not been given worm castings I think it would not needed to be pulled.

The two I put under the lights turned out completely different.

1. was very small white hairs when the budding started and at the end it didnt have very large colas. very little scent as well but its ok. Not great but ok.

The 2. plant turned out phenomenal. It started with very bushy white hairs. More so than any plant Ive ever saw before and the scent was phenomenal. More citrus with a hint of blueberry and pistachio. More citrusy than anything else.
It had enormous colas and the white stigmas turned a very deep and bright orange. With a lot of them on it and oddly even the stigmas were full of trichs. It is very sticky and looks great.

If I remember I will post photos of them as they finished and what they look like now.

Both yielded very similar amounts. One about 7 ounces and one about 8.5 ounces. If the bottoms hadn't died as they grew it probably would have been much more but oddly they died from the bottom up as the tops budded until the dying reached the top colas on one plant and the one that had smaller top colas stopped before it reached the top but had much smaller colas. Both grown in the same pots same medium same feeding and watering schedules. I still have more of these seeds but I dont know if I want to even grow them for a while. Out of growing 6 of these plants I gave one away when it started budding. Pulled one up. One grew a huge cola(did not top it) and of the 4 that made it one needed peroxide to grow anything because it experienced partial root rot.

So strange that they all smelled different and dont even look or smell like the same buds though of the 6 only one had different looking leaves from the others and turned out the best. Very sticky and if I could grow that one again I would start a grow now but you never know what you will get with these seeds.

Its late, maybe I will read this tomorrow and wonder what the heck I just wrote.

I dont know how I missed your post. Apoligies. I dont like missing responses to peoples questions or at least acknowledgement that they said something to let them know I read it.

The area that you see that is still open got some Mylar covering that area. I just taped the seam with some duct tape. It took two pulled from wall to wall and overlapped each other in the center. No framing needed there.
The door was just a flap of Mylar.
My basement gets down to 61 degrees If I leave both vents open. I've actually seen it at 59 degrees in the basement. I keep them both closed and I still have to blow the cold air up the steps to make the house more efficient.
But that area, because of two lights hanging in it gets up to 85 degrees. while outside is still about 63 64.

IT worked out great. I only had fungus gnats and when I brought a plant in from the outside had a few leaf hoppers. But they didnt eat much. Stayed on the plant they came in on and are gone now.

Those plants all turned out great except one was just ok.
I still have a few going and will be my last for a while. I have enough now for 2 years. Probably more than enough but the point was, because I know people are going to ask for it and even offer to pay, I wont be a seller. These are my friends and family members. I did this because its more healthy I believe than dispensary stuff.
Whenever I smoke stuff grown at the dispensary within a month(if I smoke during the day and not just once at night late) then I can not eat until I smoke. Forces me to have to smoke all day long. And to me this is odd because not one of my grows have caused this. I can smoke whenever I want to, all day if I want, and after months I dont have to smoke to keep an appetite. I can stop whenever without side effects.
What does that say for what is being grown in dispensaries? And as far as effect and high? No difference. My stuff is just as strong. If not in some cases better.
I've always noticed their product looks good. But its always too dry and burns up fast. Go figure.

I believe these mass growing farms are allowed to use chemicals that are not organic to a degree and you never know, they may be doing the same thing they did with cigarettes to make it more addicting. If I have to smoke to eat that is not good. And this was the main reason I wanted to grow all organic. The ONLY non organic thing that goes into my grows is dawn dish soap mixed with neem oil when I spray the soil and I highly doubt that is getting into the plant. I dont think the plant drinks that stuff up and I never never never spray the foliage with it.

Edit: after I wrote this and posted it I realized I did respond. lol

No problem. I was a short ways into your reply and kept saying to myself that you did explain the building of the grow area.
:)
