Skunnymonster's Multi-Strain Perpetual LED Grow

The main factor with the Osram SSL 80's is they have spent many years developing their product specifically for horticulture. For you to say the 660nm is great & the others not so good, shows you are a little ignorant or gullible to your friend at Cree's suggestions. Osram are also the most efficient & best quality money can buy. Cree make LED's of good quality but they are adapted for horticulture, NOT designed for horticulture. By using just the 660nm you are missing the trick & may as well just use all of the Cree chips & not bother using any Osram as they do not have the same lens so everything would be thrown out of kilter.

Mid-week update time for you all & as usual we start in the veg/nursery

My clone with lots of roots died after I removed the duck tape from the break I thought had healed :(

That's it for tonight my lovelies, take it easy & keep it green :peace::Love:

Girls are looking great. Sorry your clone died, but I'm sure you can make another. And it looks like your Flux has already got more buddage to it than mine. I might win the fluxy fail after all

Budstep, thanks man & it's nice to see you back from your vacation :) I'm only running the Osrams at the mo & they draw 310w so a bit less than the two Mars which draw 340w and I have a better coverage with the Osrams

Payton, I think you could be right with fluxy but they are very skinny & not very resinous. I've still got a tiny clone so all is still good despite the death :)

Thanks Skunny, been back for a few days, am just catching up on the forum and chilling. Will update my journal tomorrow. If you have any of the Mars just sitting in the corner I can take it of your hands :)

I'll look forward to seeing your grow mate, it seems ages since I've seen what you're up to. The Mars will be getting some action in the future to light the other half of my tent so I can't pass them on mate. I'll replace them at some point with more osrams but I need business to pick up before I can afford them. I'm going to need another veg light too as the 96x3 isn't going to be adequate for my veg room.
I NEED MORE MONEY!!!!

We are just thinking, but not the final idea. when the new product come out the end of next month, hope to talk more with you .

Whatever you decide to do I'm sure you'll be going in the right direction if you choose top BIN quality LED's. Take a look at Platinum for example, they are using top BIN LED's in their lights from various manufacturers & they are still affordable to most of us growers. They are a bit gimmicky with an 11 band spectrum but the results of Curso's grow shows they are doing a great job with his plants.
I look forward to hearing which direction you go & I'm more than happy to help you in any way I can :)

Curso's plants were growing under our lights untill the big flower. they should use it from begin to harvest. then I will believe. Besides, I do not believe what Plantinum is saying, I am in China, I know the product and market. I also know OEM business,. is not that easy.

If platinum has better light, why they make the same as Eshine 3G?it will not influence their business if there is a worse copy one on the market.

We think our product is great, so we do not want to do the same products as others. then people can distinct from others. We applied Patent to protect our lights, so no other manufacture can make our lights, at least the design is different:)

I'm aware they were only swapped mid way through flower so it's not the best grow to use as a comparison but the only other sponsored grow is Governmentchz & he's still in the seedling stage. I was merely pointing out that the use of top BIN chips doesn't have to be expensive. That's IF they are top BIN :) The design is identical to the Eshine which is not good so you do the right thing by patenting your design. No one can copy it & make a poor product.
I love TopLED & I love you but I know you can make a good light better :) :circle-of-love:

Little update, the 3 flowering girls have had a defol tonight & the two tangies have had a drink. I've upped the PK to 1.5ml/L this feed & everything else has stayed the same.:)
Due to me surviving on a tiny dealer bag as a weekend treat I decided to trim all the resinous parts of the leaves & speed dry it to smoke. I've just smoked a fat one with just a bit of baccy in & I'll tell you what, I'm fcuked :tokin: My tolerance level is seriously low due to the poor quality dealer bud so when these girls get the chop, a spliff will wipe me out :).............Composing this post has taken approximately 30mins :lot-o-toke:

Not to bud in, but I just purchased a P 450 the same kind Curso has and I will be hanging it next to a Mars2 900. I don't know if I'm going to separate them yet but at least it will give us a side by side for flowering.

Thanks zombie :) have you released your predators in your g/h yet for the feed of their lives?
24 hour report = The battle ensues , so far I see one fast mite one every GSC leaf (those girls are mildly bit , on purpleberry heavy leaf infestation the runners are 4 -5 a leaf & have to navigate the heavenly heavy resin heads & hairs to get their pry .
I just a different species in the last hour & will be applying these thru out my 22 32 ' g/h every plant inthere will get as well as house plants that I might touch in my travels I must remember that ME ,I am the biggest thread to bring in pests & that & my dogs as well . so the g/h off limits to the dogs

Good news skunny! Can't wait to give you the same report

May resinous frostry goodness rain down on yet harvested buds Bro'

From my experience, P is buying from Eshine to resell. If you have power to do better things, the first thing you consider is to change your design. or others will take advantage of your product. I believe people are wise, will not do that bad things for their business.

So I do not think they have better pin or something else, becuase we have factory, we know MOQ.if you just begin your business, very less people can afford that MOQ. If they have power, I believe their target market will not be the 420magazine. I googled, can not find too much information about them. We are doing OEM service for one reseller, she come to China to find material each 4months. test a lot different things and new techlonogy. do a really great product, it will take longtime, but not one year or two year.

we will just do ourselves reseach, do the best. we have a big team , large customers group. we need their suggestion:)

Blazin, that will be good to see my friend :)

Zombie, best of look to your preds & keeping your dog out is a wise move buddy:thumb: & thank you, resinous frosty goodness is certainly raining on my buds & the harvest can't come soon enough.

buysser, I'll look forward to your report mate, it won't be long now :) I can't wait to see what these are like in 6-8weeks

Sara, they wouldn't be the 1st to do it on here so that wouldn't surprise me one bit & if anyone would know, it would be you :)
You know what my suggestions are for a new & better light & that's top BIN chips & the 80 degree lenses on the SSL 80's are great so there's another :) The colour mix on my light is this, 24 Royal Blue 455nm, 56 Red 623nm, 56 Hyper Red 660nm & 16 3500K Warm White which I think is perfect & my plants do love it. This is on two separate panels measuring 33cm x 56cm which allows a great coverage in a 4ft x 4ft area (120cm x 120cm) Separate veg & flower modes is well worth doing as many growers will just use the one light all the way from seed to harvest. Mine also hve a low power 'eco veg' mode for seedlings, this is another thing you could look at. I do believe if you made a premium product alongside your current range then people will chose yours over any other as your customer service is unmatched :)
