Skunnymonster's Multi-Strain Perpetual LED Grow

forget one pathetic arm !! within this forest, only you can see it :ganjamon:

Love this update, lots of stretch, buds coming everywhere !!!!

it rocks mate :)

Thanks Tad, there's more than one arm but my other girls are keeping me happy :) I've just been in your yard & it looks like you've got some bud on the way yourself :) Good work my friend :thumb:

Hiya zombie, it's good to have you along :) The mars have been doing a great job, I've had a power pack fail in the full spectrum one but other than that, I've been very happy.
I'm gonna use some of 400's as auxiliary lighing in my G/H to get auto's their needed light hours thru the winter runs . I have 3 now but want some flower red units & to get them you have order from China & pay the extra shipping . So looking at other options as well
I need the boost light at the end of the day & also on rainy cloudy days

I bought one of the flower spectrum lights myself mate & they're not very red due to the large amounts of whites if you get what I mean. That light is running the nearest two plants in this picture

To the naked eye it looks much whiter.
If you're on a budget then the Znet's might be worth a look, they are very dominant in the reds. I don't know where they hold their stock though. Another option is the TopLED reflector series, they have a great flower spectrum & have given great results. They are nice & light too :)

Sara from TopLED says she can do a custom mix of red if given lead time for testing ,as I'm 'only' doing aux lighting to add to my real sunshine

That's worth waiting for then :) It's best to mix a couple of reds in the 623nm 660nm range. A few whites won't do any harm as they cover the full spectrum & would offer a better balance on a cloudy day :)

With regards to the whites mate, i'd be interested to know how the full spectrum compares to the flowering spectrum when it comes to flower, because i've read in places that actually the full spectrum does just as well, but failing that, after your advice, i may just add a few extra UV strips during flower, i think they make them for lizard houses etc....i would love to go all the way through with LED but i'm certainly not going to risk the yield in any way.

All looking great btw :)

Up to now mate, there's nothing to choose between them & the only problem is, I won't go full cycle with them as mr Osram is coming to play :) But like I said there's nothing to choose between them so I'd have to advise anyone thinking of paying the extra not to bother. It's a pain in the arse that you cant veg with them too. With regards to UV I'd be interested to see if it makes any difference

Oh & cheers :)

Me too Keegan, I checked the tracking & it's shown at my local depot 5 hours ago so it should be on a delivery van today :yahoo:
I'll be using it on all my flowering girls & the Mars will be put away until the next girls are ready to move in :)

I forgot to update my feed last night. They all got 3ml/L PM Bloom, 1.25ml/L Cal Mag+, 2ml/L Ancient earth, 1ml/L PK13-14 & 1/2 teaspoon of some red granules I think is Bud Blood. I've only got a bit of it & it's in a clear bag so I'm only guessing that's what it is, hence the small dose :) The PK is just a feeler feed to see how they take it & so far, so good. They seem to like it :) PH was around 6 with no adjustment needed, EC 2.2 I think. I also found out that trying to cut corners by watering them in situ is a bad idea. I spilt the run-off of both Tangies & had to mop it up. I'll not be doing that again :/

Tracking details have just been updated & show my light is out for delivery

The latest update is a delivery between 14.09 & 15.09 so it's not far away :) it's definitely not on the same van as your motor though, fulham wtf?? that's worrying :/

damn flush of spider mites hit yesterday , I knew I should have kept up my scheduled boosting of the humitty to 90 -100% for periods of the day . 3 days of g/h kept dry all day Boom a huge flush & freash eggs
sorry was gonna do some pix but the day was invested in spraying off the leaves with forced water & then boosting the humidity to 100% all day & keep the temps at 90F as well
went back after 6 hours & the eggs seem mostly gone a few dead mites (high humity make the buggers explode if they eat LOL )
then I seen in my lope that a tiny predatory wasp was feeding on the mites as well @ 1st I thought it was a fungus nat , but it was at least 1/2 the size of a nat

gonna go green on the control , ordered some predatory mites next day delivery found a guy who does 3 species mite blend of warm temp perd mites
as long as you can maintain 55% humity they will thrive
some safe soap for killing eggs
the pred mites will be here on tuesday & I'll safe soap & do the water spray & humity periods till then I knocked back a flush before on this grow , I gotta quit listening to you indoor guys talk about keeps the buds dry right at the end
greenhouse grows are soooo different the maximum control over the environment is Cool But it has to be well understood what actions can cause adverse reactions this is one of them , been many years using this G/H for rare plants & now on 1st MMJ there is a learning curve but it's not steep but need careful observation
sorry Skuunny long winded on yer thread pix later today

Fair play mate, enjoy your early dart :)
I'll post some stealthy pictures of mr sunshine for ya when I get it :)
I suggested to LED guy once more that I would happily be a sponsored grower & help increase his sales but he just ignores me :/ I've even said that he can set a figure of X amount of sales to qualify for a free light but he's not bighting. I'll wait until I harvest my plants, see how many people are interested in buying one of his lights & send him a link to this journal. If that fails, he's a dick& the light remains a secret :)

No worries zombie, post away :) Luckily for me being an indoor UK grower, bugs & stuff are non existent in my groom. I hope your new bugs eat all the ones you don't want, that's a cool way to control em :thumb:

BG & all you other lovely folk, look what's just come :)
