I've just done some aggressive pruning on fluxy, all the arms that were dominantly male & serial nut producers have been removed. Any mixed arms have had the male sites removed so now it's only female arms & dominant female sites that remain. I've no idea if this will make any of the female arms male or if they will stay female, I'm hoping for the latter Are the male genes just in the affected arms or is it a percentage of the plant? Dr Skunny will find out for ya

Me too mate, I need to try & salvage what I can from her so I'm hoping this will remove the male tendencies & make her concentrate on producing buds. The gamble is that say 25% of it's genes are male and they travel to the female arms & do a sex swap. If they do that, then I've just committed a major boo boo

To be honest mate you had to do something and even if you have made a boo boo they way it was going it would have ended up the same anyway.

I've currently got a sweat on, I'm making my veg space bigger so I can run my cfl for babies & my 96x3 as a veg light to get them ready to bloom. It's a tight squeeze but needs to be done

Haha, I was happy with a 600w HPS in a 2x4 tent for years mate but with LED I can light an 8x4 on less power & joining this site has given me the bug again
I'm at my limit now coz my room is chocka

I've taken some pics of my new expanded veg/nursery area. The veg area now measures 3'6" wide x 4'6" deep & then there's a bit on the right hand side for the nursery.
As you look through the bedroom door, the veg room can be seen on the left

Behind the door I have my coco & perlite supplies

You're right mate, I think I could in the future I can't really at the mo, coz there's an AKS seedling, a Sweet Cheese waiting to break ground & whatever clones survive all waiting so my little light will just about manage them

Bruv, u gotta cover that carpet with plastic or you've got a breeding ground for mold and mites.

The carpet aint ideal so I'll get some big trays when I'm flush.
