Skunnymonster's Multi-Strain Perpetual LED Grow

I've checked the flowering times, Tangy is 70days, Toxic 60-65 & fluxy is either Sour diesel 65-70 or Royal cheese 50-60 days
The flowering time isn't including the 1st week or so & is only taken from the 1st sign of flowers. It'll be more like 11-12 weeks or 3 months, whichever way you look at it, it seems so far away. I think the weak pheno Tangy will be the only let down on this grow so hopefully the others make up for it & give me an average 1gpw, any more than that is a bonus :)

My plants are back in a square configuration & both Mars 400's are in there providing them with light. The flower spectrum is very white so pictures should look good. I'll post some tomorrow for ya :)

Good evening, afternoon, morning fellow gardeners. I have my mid-week photo update for you so we'll start in the nursery.
Here's the clones & purp in my propagator

All is good or so you & I thought. I had a look to see if there were any pistils yet & I was met with the sight of ball sacks on fluxy. BARSTEWARD!!!! I yelled & quickly removed it from my tent. I've had a fan blowing on her to toughen the arms & a couple of pollen sacks had burst already so I hope it hasn't contaminated anything. The tent walls, floor & the benches have had a wipe down & I've spent ages removing pollen sacks & giving her a thorough check over. Once finished I drenched all the foliage to wash off any pollen that may have settled. De-sacking a flux is not easy & I think she will end up in the trash if I struggle to keep on top of it. I've had hermies before & de-sacked them for a while then they stop producing them, so I'll see how I go with this. There were only about 4 or 5 arms affected so hopefully it will stay contained to these.

Here's some pics

This is my quarry of sacks in various stages of development

I'm gutted this has happened to her but I won't give up hope

That's so heartbreaking to see that happen to fluxy. But you did call it right on beauty and beast. Other than those minor things, everything else is looking great. Do you think you could shower your plants with water and clean pollen off before they get a chance to be fully pollinated?

I'm pretty certain I'll be safe Payton, there were a couple of leaves under the arm where they'd popped which had pollen on & it didn't seem to be getting much air blown so I could be lucky. I've drenched all the others just to be safe so I just hope I can keep on top of it & she stops producing them sharpish.

Good thinking. I hear that after a week the pollen is dead anyways, and I'm guessing since the plants aren't budding yet you're in the clear. You've been at this a lot longer than me, so I know they'll pull through.

Bad luck with beauty & fluxy :( I had a feeling beauty would turn into a dude so that doesn't bother me but fluxy is a biatch

Beast is gonna be the new beauty, I love how it's growing :)

In the misty dome I have Washing Machine that has sprouted, Old School that was almost decapitated by the husk so is a stem with a dead leaf. Kush N Cheese & Afghan Kush Special have yet to break the surface, I've pretty much given up hope with these tbh

Payton, yea mate, it's just if I can keep on top of them. I'll have to get up early to check before work & again when I get home until I know I'm in the clear

Cheers Doozy & Dusty, I went from joy at seeing pistils to anger at seeing ball sacks. 3 months of veg & training for this to happen  It's the worst style in the world for inspecting too, so these next few weeks could be a veritable nightmare.

Do you know why this happened? There are many reasons it can happen, a common reason is a light leak during dark hours. Could this be the cause?

I'm not sure what has caused it Buck, I know it isn't light leakage as I tested my tent before my plants were put in. I think I'll check again tonight at lights off just to be sure. I've had an 8" fan blowing down on it from a height of 18" & the outer arms which were affected had been getting a bit of a battering with the wind. I also took a clone off it about 4 days before I flipped to 12/12 so both of these could stress the plant & cause it to hermie. Due to it being a big messy forest of a plant it's always got me poking, tweaking & messing about with it so has that stressed it? It's a bit of a mystery to be honest.
I gave her a check over this morning & no new sacks have appeared in the 12 hours of darkness & I'll do the same checks tonight. Hopefully I can keep them at bay & still get a good harvest from her.
