Skunnymonster's Multi-Strain Perpetual LED Grow

Also am going to sub to his thread, sounds interesting, atb with it am just entering LED power, as it has reached a point of proven success, (using the correct lights obviously, I could spend 1000's and more in one click but on plastic id be really stupid, have my eye on a nice little light though, perhaps Xmas)
:goodluck:

I'll do a photo update tonight to show you my line of girls & my new toy :) Yep, the Aero-Pot has arrived & so have my consolation beans from Herbies. :thumb: I've also done a mod on my propagator which I'll show you, I'm nice like that. :)

It says you can do seeds in it so lets see if you can. no soaking, just straight into a pre-soaked jiffy pellet

I bought it to do clones so it'd be rude not to try one. This got snipped off Toxic

And to finish, my four girls all lined up. From left to right we have Toxic, Fluxy and the two Tangys

That's your lot for today :)

Cheers Payton, I'm excited myself.:) If it does both as it says then my propagator can take a back seat.
I'm a little sceptical with the seeds but I'm willing for it to prove me wrong & not pre-soaking really goes against the grain with me but nothing ventured, nothing gained & I really want to test it to the max :)

nice one skunny! i didnt realize what side tent you had lol, i need a bigger one :(

ill go check out doozys setup, for a first grow it sounds like his going all out :) respect!

Thanks Dusty, I've just been up to see how it's doing & my clone is still alive & looking perky. It's nice & warm too so I think it's going to turn out to be a good piece of kit :)

Well, well, well, who wudda thunk it? I checked my final 3 paid for seeds from my last order & Old School had a decent tap root :) Not white mush like the others but a real actual root :yahoo: Kush N Cheese also looks better than any of the previous 2 that failed, this was the biggest & healthiest looking seed & the tap root was nice & thick with just a small tail protruding. Washing Machine hasn't quite popped it's root out but it looks to be on its way so all in all it's looking rosy with these three. :) I popped them into root riots & now they are in my mist machine, fingers crossed they pull through as like I've said, these are the final paid for seeds & I really want to grow these strains.
I wonder if the moon has anything to do with this OTM?

Oh, I almost forgot, I measured fluxy last night & she's got 5" of vert so I'm on track to flip next week. I'll do a 50/50 grow & bloom feed this weekend to get them prepared :)

I mix 50/50 in their last week of 18/6 & their 1st week of 12/12. Then in the 2nd week of 12/12 they then get 100% bloom. I see lots of people do it differently & I wouldn't say you must do it this way but it's always served me well. :)

I'll be honest & say I have no theory or reasoning behind why I chose this way. I might have known a long time ago (I've been growing for over 10 years) but I've forgotten what the reason was :lot-o-toke: Huge stretch is something I always try to avoid, when I was on HPS too high meant crispy top buds & now with LED it means not enough penetration & lots of fluffy popcorn, so I'll stick with it :)

I'm glad you explained your findings, maybe that's why I stuck with this routine :)

I've just got home from work & checked in on my garden & all looks good. Whilst in there I thought I'd check the moisture levels on the root riots that were placed in the misty dome this morning & I noted the clone was still nice & perky. Once I'd finished with the root riots I saw the clone was wilted. What had I done? Did I catch it by mistake? Had I made a mistake & it was never perky? I had no idea, so on went the dome & into my tent I went. After a bit of nip & tuck my girls had their weekly foliar feed & I zipped up my tent & I had a peek in my dome. Lo & behold, it's perky again :thedoubletake: It's like magic I tell ya :)

I think it's because you disturbed the roots. I have similar things happening with my power flower. She had roots sticking out the bottom of the pot and when I touched her roots leaves started drooping. Hope it makes sense, if not I appologize , I'm smoking my Blue cheese at the moment and am typing from phone. That's extra difficult to think about 2 things at the same time - Multitasking.
I think I said too much.
