Skunnymonster's Multi-Strain Perpetual LED Grow

What height do you reckon you'll be dealing with after the stretch, and how tall is canopy now, looks about 20cm , if uv got the space why not mainline or can ur yields be higher fluxing. Are you using 1 or 2 Mars 2 400 s and what is the lighting area(best LPW) ?

I've not grown either strain or used LED before so it's only a guess but I'm thinking somewhere around 12"
They vary in height with the Toxic the tallest at 14" (36cm) the two Tangies are 8 1/2" & 10" (22cm & 26cm)
I've never done mainlining I just do my Skunnybush©™ This style should suit LED as it's like a scrog without a screen
Only the full spectrum 400 has been used through veg. It's about 24" high & the footprint of my plants is currently 3x3 & that's the lights best coverage. I will re-arrange my plants & add the flower spectrum Mars a few days before I flip to 12/12. Each light will do 2 plants each.

Cheers bruv, feeling my age a bit today, and had a kebab at 05.00 this morning, felt pony all day , but gotta put cracked(with 8mm tap roots) 1 Ult Purp has put out a tap, 2nd looks like it may have just split the pod and 3rd it looks like it was never viable, glad I put them back in water. Your ones look sweeeet.
The regs all popped fast and clean, unorg genetics I think r very strong and stable, I'll have to see. Not looking forward to having to pot up and clone 4 sex , well got plenty more. ( about 150 /80 fem) 12autos
so lots to play with, that site is expensive man, will check the sister single seed site.:420:

Good news bro, get a journal up & running :)
Reg seeds always germ better but it's the long wait to sex that cabbages me. They are usually better plants though if they're females so it's a buzz when you get a girlie. I've heard good reports from Wizards on their strains :)

When I germinate seeds I use a matchbox lined with about 320 sandpaper to shake the seeds in for a minute, it scrapes the sides of the seeds to aid in moisture penetrating the seeds shell.

After having germination issue with Jiffy peat moss pucks and soil I switched to Rapid Rooters and have had much higher germination rates. Rapid Rooters seem to provide the seed with the perfect amount of air and moisture. I soak my seeds in pH adjusted water for 30-36 hours or until i see tap roots. I cut the Rapid Rooter mat into individual squares then I soak the Rapid Rooter squares in pH adjusted water for 15 minutes before use. Then I place the seeds tap root down into the Rapid Rooter square then place them underneath a light with 18/6 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness. I do not use a humidity dome. I hand water with a syringe each day to keep the Rapid Rooter square moist. when I see roots emerge from the Rapid Rooter square I transplant to 5" pots in a mixture of peat moss, perlite, vermiculite and mycorrhizae.

Cheers KJC but u told me that before, have never had a problem germinating, I'll scuff if shells look really thick but , was just talking about different strains and sizes influencing the process.
Thanks all the same but I should build a little scuffing box , jus not seen a box of matches in years:thanks but I use all methods as long as they work, scuffing u just need to know how long. 10 15 seconds of shake with emery board from the girlfriends part of the bathroom, :peace::rollit:

Also in the states all the hydro gear is so much cheaper than here. Ur lucky in that department as there's stuff I want that costs 300 dollars but either costs more to ship it plus import taxes or tne only ship in North America. U can't have seeds but u can have the facilities double cheap. I'm jealous:amen:

I'd love to know how I can encourage the little buggers once they've cracked. All my seeds are still hiding in their root plugs & I want them to come out & play :(

Im not to sure so im just going to say sing to them lol cant do no harm lol :theband::biglaugh:

I think if I had a heated propagator things could improve. It's warm in there but the heat is from the top not down below. I've got a desk lamp I might try as an underside heater.

Sing to them?? With my voice I'll scare them to death

I've just rigged up a 12v inspection lamp, it's on of the red ones mechanics use) to heat under my propagator. I think this could do the trick :)

I'm going for a 3-0 win today, LVG yesterday

I hope light works out for you. Im going for 4-1 skertal to give them a pen for pulling in the box.

I love seeing the demise of UTD, they can't sign anyone due to no CL & their squad is shite.

Come on you mighty reds!! YNWA

A little update on the light, the transformer is no more :( but fear not, it's now running with a battery charger 12v 4w should do the trick. I'll check in a bit & see how warm it is :)

Here's some photos of my under-floor heating system for my propagator. I've burnt a hole in the bottom with the bulb to make a heat inlet, (don't try this at home kids) Then inside there is a shallow plastic lid to catch the rising heat & trap it in. So there you have it, job done
