Skunnymonster's Multi-Strain Perpetual LED Grow

While you are answering questions....heres one for you.....Have you tried your tips and tricks while in flower?.....i got an idea while sitting in front of my BD......she is on Day 12 of 12/12......stretching very good.....i have 10 dominant tops that are 3-4 inches above the secondary level.....i am not happy with only 10 tops......so my thinking on it was your tips and tricks should work the same in stretch.....defol those branches only......did a pretty good defol.....pinched the tops of two of them to see how they react.....now i am hoping it just slows the growth of those 10 branches and allows the secondary to catch up therefore increasing my tops from 10 to hopefully around 30:)......so whatcha think......make sense?....and have you implemented it at this stage:)......ok...so more than one:)

Yea I still do lollypopping but I do think the girls do better with a decent amount of leaf. You need to clean enough for the bottom stuff to develop though if you grow tall plants. I left Critical till week 5 & she had lots of pale fluffy shite at the bottom that was in the dark. I stripped her a bit & opened her up, 3 weeks later & all the bottom stuff is lush & green now :) I have been real heavy with defol & the buds don't fatten the same, they must feed off the leaves :)

Yes Dirty & I have used it with success in flower so you should see a difference. The stretch hormone is super strong in some strains so the effects will be less. I did everything in my power to stop Amnesia stretching & she still quadrupled in height. :thumb:

The Thai traits only appeared when she went into flower & she just took off. I grew the original Jack Herer years ago & that was a stretchy bastard & got to 6ft so there's definitely stretchy genes in it with the Thai & JH. I'm not sure if C99 is a stretcher or not, you're growing that one aren't ya

Hi GD,

When I have a plant like that, I super crop all ten tops to make them even with the second layer sites. That way it makes all the lowers become tops in essence. It takes some practice to get those super crops to lay down just right, but nailing it is way cool.

I did some with my critical jack herrer but i think too late...was like week 4 of 12/12.....had to tie a couple from above to keep them up:/....the others never fully recovered:).....but with the WW during stretch i did it....and they recovered quickly:).....I like Skunnys method as you dont actually lay the stem over ....i believe you just crack it a bit but not enough to lay it over:)....in my mind that equals less recovery time and they dont lose any height...just stunt them:)lol....at least that is how it works in my mind:)...Skunny?:)

Personally if your technique works like it is on my GPK in veg then i wont supercrop anymore:)....never was a big fan of it anyhow.....the laying over just never sat well with me:)...at any stage:)....but yours fits my needs more to the T i think:)....Dont go getting a big head....i am only saying it to make you feel good:rofl:lol......Thank you again for that share....and i still need to work out my sig....i keep forgetting:/......

I still supercrop as well as all that lot. By supercropping, you increase the tops with secondary branching :) LST by tying can be used if you don't like bending branches & that does the same thing :)

Did someone say lay the stem over? You mean like this? Hehehe

GD, wasn't that your biggest harvest off of one plant?:Namaste: No disrespect intended Brother Dreamz :):):)

In all seriousness, not all techniques are right for everyone. I use duct tape to repair any branch that breaks during the operation :). Like Skunny, I don't always supercrop, but when I do, I choose Dos Equis LOL. In flower I try not to supercrop past week 3.

I also use the slight bend technique way more than the "branch brake layover technique", However, they are both the same method. Supercropping. It's just levels that are more drastic than the next.

I also use LST all the time. I use stakes and ties and all the business. *I think a multi-point attack is best when dealing with a stretchy Sativa or hybrid.

WOW, I'm stoned.

Morning skunny morning Welshman and every one else . I've refilled my carbon filter before if I remember I did a twelve inch one and I used two bags . It was a very messy operation and I was covered in black carbon dust . Keep a water mister spray bottle handy to keep the dust down and slightly dampen the carbon first . And spray the inside of your rubbish back as well before tipping the old stuff inside :) remember once you have filled your filter tamp all the carbon back down it needs to be tightly packed . I weighed what I took out and replaced the same weight . I've only done this twice as now the hydro shop near me gives 30% off a new filter if you bring your old one back :) . It's a messy job and before you start make sure you have enough carbon pellets Unless you mixing old with new and do not smoke in a carbon dust filled room . It could go bang :) I don't mean to scare you but dust can be explosive if you're not careful :)

Good Morning Doc, brotha Chronic, Welshy & BG :) I'll say god morning to Tassie too coz he'll be lurking somewhere :ciao: then there's Dirty & Payton, WJ, Zombie oh fcuk it. Good morning everyone :thumb:
