I do take back that trash talking because the smoke on those deep blue c autos was one of the most psychedelic highs I've had yet.
Lesson learnt ..

Just a quick update to keep this journal active.
I had transplanted for the first time about 10 days ago.. moving the photo strains into 1gal pots. Last night after looking at the roots I decided to move them into 3gal pots which they'll stay in until I chop down. Roots looked awesome for such a short time and they've tripled in size. I'll give them 2weeks to get comfy in these pots before I flip.

Those roots look great! Also seems like you got them right on time. I was always worried about getting root bound when I grew photos

Thank you. I definitely agree about the timing. The first time I transplanted they were close to root bound for sure. I could see it in the color of the leaves but the flip side to that is how quickly they grew into the next size pot. It took them about 5 days to settle into the new soil but then they exploded.
I'll continue to pot photos up gradually but pay more attention to the root growth.
I still feel like a new grower when it comes to photos.

Day 42 of veg. I've only fed these girls once with root tonic during the 3rd week of veg so I'm 100% loving how well they are growing in just the soil.
I'm trying to hold off on flipping the lights. It's a daily battle within myself lol.

She's growing so tight and bushy I did some lst on the bottom branch's.

The deep blue c x ripply's og auto's are just showing sex now but will be staying in tiny pots so it's difficult to gauge what size plants and yield they will give. Next round will be all autos so I'll have a much better idea of size.

The love of good bud wins. Flipped the lights last night. I'm worried about keeping the temps warm enough. Lights out on 20/4 drops down to 68 but I noticed today on 12/12 it hit 58f off and 72 with them on in this basement. I hate the idea of a space heater because I'm scared of fires but I may not have a choice.

Looking real healthy and praying hard.
If you do decide to get a heater try grabbing one that's oil filled radiator style heater. That way there isn't any open heating element

Great! Thank you. I've spent some time looking into these, some turn off automatically once the room reaches the desired temp. That would make me feel more at ease.
