Ooooh! Beautiful ween! :bravo:

Thanks Amy!

Yup, Ween is getting really good with a camera! And of course those beautiful models help too!
Looking awesome Ween!

Thanks Daj! I used to take artsy pics with a Nikon D70 but haven't touched it in years. Needs a good cleaning and some new lenses.

Beautiful pic of moonlight!!!!!

Thanks Birdy! :passitleft:

So, pretty sure I have PM in my veg tent. Last week I found 1 leaf which I removed and crossed my fingers, today I found about 6 leaves (in all cases there was a spot the size of a dime.) I only found them on the 2 BCPs but none on the other 2. RH has been very low, could that have something to do with it? I thought it came from high rh.....

Can anyone suggest a brand and/supplier for a sulfur burner? Zon? I probably won't be able to,get rh anywhere near 100%, is that ok/what is the minimum? @Doc Bud tagging you since I've seen you talk about this before. Any other ways to deal with it? Thanks!

So,do,the lights stay on the same schedule? Simply wrap lights with clear plastic?

Thanks Neiko!

Anyone that's bought a sulfur burner, does the powder or discs come with it? I'm guessing no because it's not, mentioned but it also does not say what to,get. I am guessing I,should get 2lb bag of the yellow, powder, anyone? I was looking at the least expensive one and ne of the reviews said it was a POS and to buy the yellow one which is $120 so,am considering that one.

It will say if the sulfur comes with it or not. They are all a POS really. They look like you could build one with an old coffee can and a light socket. You don't want to run the burner with lights on, do it during the dark period for at least 6 hours. If you can take the lights out of there or tape them up in garbage bags. I learned the hard way but luckily the Manufacturer replaced both my lights.

Thanks again Neiko! I,looked at every one on the zon and only found 1 that said sulfur not included and the rest didn't say either way so I went ahead and picked the yellow one and yellow powder. My lights are smaller and light so,I'll,take em out. Glad you got your lights replaced!

Hey, Brother, sorry to hear about the PM! There are a number of easy, organic "recipes" to help keep PM under control. You may want to try some before investing in a sulfur burner, which can be harsh on the plants, too, from what I understand.

Check out some of these remedies:

Thanks Bud! I already purchased the burner and sulfur but appreciate the link! Doc says the burner should be a toll all growers have, in case. Also, says its very effective. I'll give it a 6 hour burn and see how it goes.

Thanks brother! It'll be a learning experience. I hope to nip it in the bud but if I had to lose the crop, I wouldn't be devastated.

So now all 4 are full on blooming in 16/8! They all look healthy with no (or very few) 3 bladed leaves. Almost all 5 and a few 7. Took a few pics but battery was low so no flash and I didn't want to post the blurple pics.

Any thoughts as to why my plants are blooming in a veg schedule? These are not the first to,do,this on me.

I can flip but was hoping to put it off for another 2 weeks because I will have company here around Christmas and I don't want the BCPs stinking up the places, in a good way for me but not so much for my guests, ha! I,can rely on my carbon filter and maybe scented candles or something,

I am very unsure of why they would be blooming under veg light schedules. I have seen people use the gas lantern lighting routine (12 hours on, 5.5 hours off, one hour on, 5.5 hour off) without having their plants flower. So why they would under 16/8 I dont know. I veg under 24/0 (mostly because I use small lights and dont have a way for them to get complete dark anyways). I would ask in the Q&A thread and see if anyone else may have an idea. It just does not make sense.

Sometimes unstable genetics can start flowering when they are sexually mature. Normally it seems that happens with clones as they are normally sexually mature from when they hit soil.

@dajerm119 your's happened with the clones from your Panama.

I'd take a look at any extremes in your environment. Stress can cause it as well, but normally it seems it's just the genetics.

On the PM though, can you post some pics. That seems bizarre that you'd get it with low RH.

Yep, also happened with the Wonder Woman clones I took... I don’t have good luck with clones in that regard. They come on nice and healthy and then once they get so big, they start blooming and throwing 3 blades. That’s why I’m not gonna do any clones for a while.

I've had it happen on a Sour Strawberry clone from B.O.G. but never from seed.

On the PM in the winter, it can for sure happen. It's usually from the humidity spike at lights out and in the winter the room tends to be cooler than in the summer so when the lights go out there is a greater spike in humidity due to cooler temps. The cooler the air the less moisture it can hold so you get a higher RH% when the lights go out and the temps rapidly fall. Running a dehumidifier at lights out is a must for me in the winter. That's the only time I've ever had PM. I added the dehumidifier and it hasn't returned since and I'm going on 2 years since the last outbreak. There's nothing more frustrating than bringing a gorgeous plant to the end only to find PM in the buds :(

Thanks Morgile! The BCPs are very mature! The other 2 are pretty mature to, it's been 3-4 weeks since I saw the first pre-flowers. Do you think they will flower, out as normal? I'd really like to get the pm in check before I flip. I will go,take some pics if I can find a couple spots. I plucked the few I found yesterday.

Sounds about right Neiko! If I add a dehuey, would it be ok if it was not in the tent? There is not a lot of room but might be able to,get a small one in there.

Thanks all for,the help!

:passitleft:

My dehumidifier is just in the room that the tents are in and it does just fine.

Ok, I'll give that a shot. Thanks!

Pics of the PM (only found 1 leaf which was way in the back and the worst one I've seen yet) and flowering veg girls.
