just bit the bullet and ordered one more 240w board myself, am finding the cheapo chinese led in my flower room just isnt cutting it to fill the final gap lol

this time lm301b 3000k with epistar 660nm far red included
got a good price on it actually, about 40% cheaper than the others, but its coming from the far east this time so might take a couple weeks, all genuine parts, this time will use the new elg driver over the hlg, has a slightly shorter warranty, but has some extra features i believe..?

anyone have experience with the elg over hlg? i know the elg is not suitable for 110v countries but is designed for 220-240v eu countries mostly.

I have just built a set of the qb132v2's with a hlg-320h-2100a fixture for my 3x3x8. Damn these things are bright, I started them off at 60" above the plant dimmed all the way down (106watt) for 110ppfd for the 1st week of my plant's life. After 1 week I dropped them down to 45" to get 160ppfd this is where I am at atm. Here are some pics anyway.

this time they come on individual heat sinks and so ive been able to space them a little better, 3x 288 @ 3500k and 2x 252 @ 3000k with 36 x 660nm far red

i want to swap the 240w 3500k board down the far end for the 3000k i have in the other room eventually, waiting the other 2 autos to finish. thats it no more lights for me lol

Dam dude that room looks baller. An congrats on the new lights I absolutely love the QB'S. I got my 260w Xl v2 above my veg girls and one Bluedream Auto. An man let me tell u how much the BD loved it once I put the new QB light in there lol. I used to only use my 2 dwarf star led lights from Neil over at perfect sun and one or two reflector 96s but now going all quantum board lights lol.

But hey guys I was wondering what kind of wire do I need to get if I wana make the wire longer from the board to the driver?

I have a question about light distance with QBs. My girls are just about done stretching except one that's really close, maybe 3" below my QB's. How close can I run them in flower from the board's? Thanks for any input

Ok cause I got this kinda wire at my house already an would hate to have to drive 45 min one way jus to get a few feet of wire lmao. Man i was so pissed at myself when I got home n relized I walked out of the store without grabbing it lol.

Ok so I was wondering if I use this 20 g stranded wire do i jus replace the black and red wire coming from the board to the driver? Or can i unplug the red and black wire from the driver end but still connected at the light board end and then jus connect the stranded wire i got here to the black and red wire already connected?

Thanks brother! I have around 6" to raise them and a few inches of clearance so 9" will have to do. I'm running 4k 288's. Soon I'll be getting some 3k's. Fingers crossed. Lol
