Question for ya...I'm interested in building a Press in the future. Are there any good diy plans/ pics out there you know of? I have access to a machine shop and some metal working skills too

Thank you for the kind words! I can't wait to see what this strain will do under the new light. But I tell you I am going to put away quite a bit of this harvest for the long term!

Hey Shiggs! Been lurking for awhile and just wanted to say GOTT DAMN! Ridiculous frost... I'm still on my first run but just got my DBHBB kit last week and am cooking for my 2nd run coming up sometime in August. I'll be happy if I can get a fraction of the frost you got there. Good job my man.
We'd all, every one of us, be happy with a portion of the frost he pulls off with regularity.
The man keeps us drolling with every run. Damn, that's a lot of frost! You're making us feel insecure Shiggity. Lol!

Hey shiggs, I gotta order some material for my light. Those chil boards, do you think I would be better off controlling each channel individually, or just be able to dim whole board together.

If you can configure the drivers to do it I would control whites and colors separate if you can (sounds like laundry). Because I hate working with and taking pics with colors. When I'm in the garden I like to be able to dim whites and turn off color. Then it's like regular light.

Ok, that's what I was leaning to. Didn't really know if would be worth it. Gonna get a 320h-1050 to control the whites, and couple smaller drivers to run red and blue. My clw ss550, has white only feature on controller, makes it nice for pics. Thanks bro

Lowered the light to about 12" the other day and it is so cool I am seeing no issues. It's so not warm under the light.

Can you wrap some numbers around those words? One grower's 'not warm' can be another grower's 'way warm' if ya know what I mean.

I can put my hand under there at 12" and it is less hot than under my CMH at 24" it's like sunlight through a window on the back of your hand. You notice the warmth but it's not uncomfortable in the slightest. It's a level that if your eyes were closed and someone put your hand there you would think it's much further away. I will see if I can get a temp I will put the thermo there tonight for you!

I went ahead and ordered 1 driver, that will allow me to control each color. Just hated to buy an extra driver for just 4 little boards. Would like to get their controller, but can't justify $400 for a controller for 4 small boards.
Damn Shiggs you are killing it with those Megafaunas. It looks like everything is liking your new light. It is awesome you can get it that close without issue

I gotta give credit. The frostiest girl the Huckleberry Kush V3 was grown under LEDRFs perfect sun 1000. That spectrum is killer. I have been very happy with that light.
