I learned a lot from growing through winter this year (and also chatting to some fine folks on this site).
What was interesting, was the amount of males i had pop up. (That's why i get to stab one).
If i grow in summer, the females dominate - i'd get 1 or 2 males, no problems. I dunno if it was the cooler temps, or planting in the smaller containers, but i've exed 9 males and 6 hermies. (That's a lot). Is there anyone who knows how to kinda force the seeds to go male iso female? What worked to make so many males? Cooler temps? Less space for root development?

Yes I could always feminize it but I would not get as good of genetics out of it this would not make it eliminated from chances of me doing it it just wouldn't make it the next one down the line after a couple of my favorites because he there is several ways to breed your plants especially for feminized seeds I will give you a few examples taking a branch and crushing it every time you go outside once a day sometimes twice a day the entire time it's trying to grow but this will stress the plant and cause that one branch to grow bananas or pollen sacs then you when these mature you can use them to pollinate the self plant or another plant if you don't want to do it that way colloidal silver is another option you can spray this on a branch that is flowering for 2 to 3 weeks in the hope to get female flowers to pop open and then my favorite trick in the book is I like to let my flowers run over the time that they are supposed to run they will go ahead and pop little pollen sacs in order for their last survival when they pop these last pollen sacs I will collect the pollen and pollinate another branch of another tree and then when I pull it all down it won't be a whole lot of THC in it left but it will be really Stoney just a few of my ways that I can do it I even have a way to do it with Tylenol but I keep that tylenol at the bottom of my bag of tricks so you can't find it

But on another note I also have a Aurora indica seed that is regular I thought about popping and I have DJ Short Flo seeds regular I thought about trying to get males out of those two let me know what you think and yes I am pretty high right now I may not be making a lot of sense but you know this

I'm not familiar with Aurora Indica or Dj Short Flo. So i spent a lot of time online today reading weed porn. Couldn't find a lot about DSF, but that aurora indica sure is puuurty. *drool* it seems like a strain that's not only beautiful, but also packs a nice punch. If you cross it with Black Ops, you could call it Black Light (yeah, i was crossing strains in my head and thought up a bunch of names. If i get Trainwreck, then x Durban Poison with it, i'm going to call it Derailment. Cause you'll be so high, it'll just derail all your plans . On another note, i had to take my mom to buy spices in Little India. The experience has scarred me so badly, i had to get REALLY relaxed when we got home.)

well i harvested on monday night and jarred today, pulled in 18.3oz from the northern lights, i highly reccomend the advanced nutrients range!

90 days from breaking soil to harvest and im no pro grower!

jarred them at 18.3 oz and ill expect to come out with arround 17-17.5oz cured!

Amen. I had a look late afyernoon, crown & leaves were sticking straight up, thanking the great green mother goddess it was still alive. It's HAPPY.

1. This is my last visual update on the boy who lived:

Bent 90°. He spit the pen out.

As you can see, it's thriving.
My conclusion?
Stem splitting to increase resin production does not kill the plant.

2. I woke up in the middle of the night, thought i was dreaming & that i was at Willie Nelson's house. All i could smell was WEED. Yummy, STINKY weed. Good dream.
Forgot i whacked the 4 girls into my cupboard, it's good & dark.

The 2 with molasses look frostier and the plantvin last pic has popped a nanner .

Proof molasses is great stuff and vs no molasses will add trichs and plants didn't throw nanners too .

Yup. Not-molasses also pushed out a good lot of new hairs. Good thing i harvest some a few weeks early for adhd meds, so they still got chopped.

I always smell like MJ. I can't ever resist touching my girls, and i loooove the smoke, but this is just INSANE.

she is 18ins tall 12weeks in flowering now she go's in to Darkness for 3 days she has had Botanicare pure blend tea for the last 2 weeks even though she has not been watered in almost 8 days she stopped drinking water a while ago
