I learned a lot from growing through winter this year (and also chatting to some fine folks on this site).
What was interesting, was the amount of males i had pop up. (That's why i get to stab one).
If i grow in summer, the females dominate - i'd get 1 or 2 males, no problems. I dunno if it was the cooler temps, or planting in the smaller containers, but i've exed 9 males and 6 hermies. (That's a lot). Is there anyone who knows how to kinda force the seeds to go male iso female? What worked to make so many males? Cooler temps? Less space for root development?
