That would do it for me too. Just for one trip though. I got trained to drive a subway consist and had to do it while in service stopping like a regular operator. An hour, and if I had to do it another minute I'd have had to take a sedative. Not for me. Cargo yes. People nay.

Hah! You saw it right in my mind. Being a wrench and wire jockey it was perfect for me. Edit: I must have used the system a dozen times in all the years. It wasn't in my favor to even free. Commute times and all.
